05:00Dolphins went three and out of an opening drive but I've really been able to move the ball since.

05:50Great execution by the Dolphins.
05:52And they look really good with Ewers at the helm.
05:57But Dulcich's first touchdown since the 2022 season with the Denver Broncos.
06:09Welcome back to Hard Rock Stadium where the Dolphins have scored 17 consecutive points after falling behind 7-0.
06:19A 9-play 76-yard drive set up by the Marshall interception.
06:25And you would have thought it would be the other way around where the Buccaneers who are needing this win want to get into the playoffs again
06:31will be fighting and tooth and nail and come out hot, stay hot, bring that emotion, bring that energy.
06:37And it's been all Dolphins ever since that interception.
06:40I mean, there's just nothing doing for the Bucs.
06:42They can't stop the run.
06:44Very surprising.
06:45And then all of a sudden, the Quinn Ewers-led offense is rolling.
06:49Dolphins have scored points on their last three possessions.
06:53Two touchdowns and a field goal.
06:56Johnson knocked out of bounds right around the 30, down to a minute 36.
07:01And the offensive coordinators with Baker Mayfield, Dave Canales, head coach for the Panthers,
07:06Liam Cohen doing a nice job with the Jaguars as head coach, and now Josh Grisard.
07:10And there's been some rubblings about Josh Grisard and the way this offense has been run.
07:16I personally like that he wants to establish the physical run-the-football kind of mentality.
07:21What's missing are those explosive plays.
07:23And then when they try it, they had an interception, right?
07:26So they have to figure out how to gain more of these explosive plays, get the ball to those playmakers downfield.
07:31Josh Grisard has spent seven years on the Dolphins coaching staff.

07:38Nice move by Irving to avoid a tackle.
07:41Grisard worked under Adam Gaze, Brian Flores, and Mike McDaniel here in Miami.

08:30Obviously, he can come back for the playoffs, hopefully.

08:40And there's Tristan Wurz.
08:41And we've asked around about, hey, who's the best offensive tackle you've gone against?
08:45Remember when we asked Brian Burns?
08:46Brian Burns, without any hesitation, said Tristan Wurz.
08:50He was the best offensive tackle I had faced.
08:52He just couldn't let me get around him.
08:54He has the athletic ability.
08:55He is that safe spot, right, for Baker Mayfield on that left side.
08:59Protects his blind spot.
09:01So I know they're going to need him back if they want to have a run or try to make a run in the playoffs.
09:05Brian Burns is having an outstanding season for the Giants.

10:17And then it translates into Sunday.
10:19So that's what I'm seeing right now, the comfortability between Mayfield and McMillan.

10:28Picks up a Bucs first.

10:30After Irving was knocked out of bounds.

10:41That's a 10-yard penalty.

10:50And we know how good Jordan Brooks is.
10:52And it looked like an easy holding call.

11:02And it backs them up on the fringe of that field goal territory right now.
11:07They want to have something positive going into the half.
11:10Because it's been all Dolphins.
11:13After that first touchdown, that first drive, it's been all Dolphins this half.
11:18Meanwhile, Seattle and Carolina now tied at three.
11:22Now Mayfield firing downfield.
11:29And this one is incomplete and tatted for Evans.
11:33Now it's really nice coverage.
11:34Rasul Douglas going against Mike Evans.
11:38That was, man, I think it's as good as it gets.
11:41Mike Evans, they're hand fighting.
11:42He's pushing off.
11:43But what I liked about Rasul Douglas, he forced Mike Evans to the sideline.
11:47And you don't see that because Mike is a big physical receiver.
11:52He likes to give himself space down that boundary, down the sideline for Baker Mayfield to throw.
11:57So that was real good coverage.
11:59And you see the frustration of Mike Evans not able to make that catch.

12:10And Mayfield signals timeout.
12:14Now this from Progressive.
12:17That is Bridgewater, the Miami native.
12:19Spent some time with the Dolphins in 2022.
12:21And he was coaching high school football in the area.

13:59Mike McDaniel talked about the way that him, Jordan Phillips, Kenneth Grant,
14:03the way that they've really been holding it down.
14:05And, yeah, the frustration.

14:08I mean, they just can't catch a break right now.
14:11Zeke Biggers has really been forcing the issue as far as play time, right?
14:14As soon as he got in.
14:15This was midseason.
14:16And he just started making plays.
14:18And they had Kenneth Grant, as I mentioned, as their first-round pick.
14:21But you're going to play your ballers.
14:23And Zeke Biggers has been balling for the Dolphins.
14:25Zeke, the seventh-round pick out of Georgia Tech.
14:28McLaughlin with the best percentage in NFL history from 50-plus.
14:33But he had that one blocked.

14:39He was under pressure from Antoine Winfield.

20:24it's an attitude adjustment.
20:26That's what they need.

20:29particularly on the defensive side.

21:02Offensively, they've been talking about these big plays,
21:07explosives that they want.
21:08They have the weapons to do it.
21:10They can run the ball with Bucky Irving,
21:12Sean Tucker, Rashad White.
21:14They can establish the run,
21:16but they need to go out there and just frankly win a 50-50 ball, right?

21:30You know, we talked to Mike McDaniel.
21:34He was still upset about the late second quarter
21:37and then third quarters that the Dolphins have had recently.
21:41They did score a touchdown late in the second quarter today.
21:44They've been outscored in the third, 113-27,
21:47including 35-0 over the last two weeks.
21:51Yeah, he referenced the Steelers game, the Bengals game,
21:54very upset about that and said these were one-score games.
21:59We didn't finish the first half.
22:01Then we didn't start out in the second half,
22:03and that's what blew both of those games wide open.
22:06Dolphins hoping for a much different result today in the third.
22:09As Mayfield's pass is short.

22:19They stopped the Buccaneers.

22:24I mean, this is what you want to see from the Miami Dolphins.

22:29do they have the right attitude?
22:31Do they have the right culture, the right players?
22:32Are they still playing hard?
22:34And it's not all about playing hard.
22:36I get that.
22:36You want to win games,
22:37but you can see that there is something brewing.
22:39They have a culture there.
22:40Quinn Ewers is leading the helm right now,
22:42and it looks good for the Dolphins overall.
22:45Dolphins still have a chance to get to eight wins on the season.

23:00So Ewers and the Dolphins offense back out on the field,

24:37If it's there, he's going to his second read.
24:39Doesn't waste time.
24:40And what I like is he's also stretching the field.
24:42He is forcing the Buccaneers' safeties, the Buccaneers' corners,
24:46to sit back in coverage.
24:47When they sit back in coverage, you get touchdowns like that to Greg Dulcich.
24:50So it's been really a nice job by Quinn Ewers.
24:54Took a little shot at the end of that one from Logan Hall.
24:57But he has really orchestrated this offense well.
25:02He is spun around and taken down by Yaya Diaby.
25:09Came into this game leading the Buccaneers with six sacks on the season.
25:12Yeah, Yaya Diaby is their best pass rusher.
25:15You're going to see him go up and under.
25:17So fluid, so quick.
25:19Beats Patrick Paul like a drum right off the snap.
25:22There was no chance for Quinn Ewers.
25:24And that's the intensity I'm talking about from the defense.
25:27That's not a special call by Todd Bowles.
25:29There's nothing there.
25:30You just beat your guy, go out and make a play.
25:33That's what Buccaneers fans, Todd Bowles, wants to see from this defense.
25:37Look at all the stats that he leads the defense in, man.
25:40He's a really good player.
