WTC One accident: Window washers left dangling from 1 World Trade Center’s 69th floor

New York emergency workers rescued two window washers trapped on a scaffolding dangling outside One World Trade Center's 69th floor Wednesday afternoon, according to a New York Times report.
While details remain scarce, authorities say one of the scaffold's cables snapped leaving the basket dangling at a precarious angle.
In what New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio called "an extraordinary effort" firefighters managed to saw through a double-paned glass window using diamond cutters and rescue the two men.
The pair worked for a company called Upgrade, according to CNN citing a spokeswoman for New York's Port Authority.
