Perched high above Manhattan, a pair of window washers became stranded on a sky scraper.
The two person window washing crew was working outside the 45th floor of the Hearst Tower when their platform got stuck.
Bystanders watched from the ground as firefighters cut out a window and pulled the men inside to safety.
The fire department decided cutting the window was safer than hoisting the men to the roof.
