00:00Off to a disappointing start this time round, losing 3-2 at home to Real Betis, despite leading twice.
00:08Saka, Udegaard and Havertz, all available to Mikel Arteta.
00:13That means that former Arsenal favourites Olivier Giroud begins the night as one of the subs.
00:24After the five-week hiatus, the UEFA Champions League returns.
00:28Sliced horribly by Pedo, and Jokhler's trying to make something of that for Arsenal.
00:36And here is the Swede, it will drop for Madweke, round the corner for Timber, and wide from Gimaraes.
00:47Never quite flowed this move, and ultimately was steered wide of target from Bruno Gimaraes.
00:59Found the net with a wonderful winner against him.
01:08Rice, Timber's made the dart again.
01:11In behind them, Goy, great cross, but a tame head out for Marino.
01:16Best move of the game, that.
01:18Timber just looping the ball in, and somehow Marino had found space.
01:24And having done so, he will be very...
01:27Marino has been in great form, again with Spain, scored in three of their Nations League games during the international
01:37break.
01:39And here's Macau with a carry, backward.
01:46Now Bentaleb, that's dropping invitingly, and it's tucked away by Ayessa,
01:53but I think he knew as soon as it hit the back of the net that that flag was going
01:57to be raised.
02:11Gimaraes, just suggestions that Arsenal are beginning to find a little bit of rhythm as Lewis Skelly pulls it back.
02:18Ezra's right, the goalkeeper, and the ricochet bounces off Jokerej and backs the keeper before he can get his feet
02:26right.
02:26But in the way was Gimaraes, Marino couldn't get the flick.
02:50One minute.
02:52Lewis Skelly, Gimaraes will hit it from there, deflated, keeper does well, not once but twice.
02:59Which forced Berkha Uzzet to have to change the direction quickly.
03:05And then as Jokerej was poised to pounce, the goalkeeper quickly down to pour it behind.
03:15Miscue was by Bentaleb.
03:19But that's enough.
03:21Half-time whistle goes, Arteta in a rush to get into the dressing room.
03:26And half-time, all square, Arsenal 0, Lille 0 on match day two.
03:35Arsenal get his back underway.
03:38Attacking the goal away to our left.
03:42Opportunities at a premium.
03:45Gimaraes, strong challenge by Andre.
03:51Madweke lifts it in.
03:54Lerino couldn't get to it, flicked on its way by Ongu.
04:00And Jokerej will be happy with the throw.
04:04So the three players, the three main players that Mikel Arteta left out from the start tonight, from Saturday's win
04:12here in the Premier League against Leeds, are all going to come on.
04:21Gimaraes, giving Madweke one last opportunity, baby.
04:26And he's found Timba, and Timba's found space, and Timba finds the date.
04:34It's a wonderful goal from Julian Timba, and relief ripples around the Emirates.
04:49Lille's dogged resistance is broken.
05:01Arsenal were preparing three changes, and Madweke found the pass to find Timba.
05:10And with some clever footwork, the Dutchman got away from his man, and three changes will still happen.
05:21Madweke, Mourinho, and Gimaraes replaced.
05:25And on come, Saka, Odegaard, and Havertz.
05:41Saka immediately involved, Havertz waits in the middle, Ezra is there as well.
05:45It's 2-0 Arsenal.
05:50Saka's very first touch brings a smile to his face.
05:57And a big number two on the scoreboard.
06:06Like Timba, it's Ezra's first goal of this season.
06:10He was very much a peripheral figure in the game before that moment.
06:17And he might have been taken off himself, but look at this from Arsenal.
06:22Oh, Odegaard moved on swiftly to Saka.
06:27He puts it in a dangerous area.
06:37Gimaraes, little touch, Ezra is in again here.
06:44Ezra able to stick out a big hand and keep that one out.
06:48It's a delicate attempt at finish from Ezra, who suddenly is really enjoying himself.
06:56Odegaard.
07:09Timba.
07:14Saka to Odegaard.
07:16Price stays down for now.
07:18And it's 3-0.
07:20Saka puts it home with such authority and composure.
07:27They are running away with it now, Arsenal.
07:31Three goals in six minutes.
07:48Odegaard and Saka in particular, it's so, so good in tight spaces.
07:53It looks as though Goffey there, number 38, was the man playing.
07:57And Haberts onside.
08:02And Haberts with the perfect cutback to Saka.
08:13Andre lose in possession again as Suga tries to flick it.
08:31Andre has lost it.
08:32Bruno Gimaraes.
08:35Keeper at full stretch.
08:37Ezra back for Odegaard.
08:40Don't rule out a fourth.
08:43Rice in the Champions League as Andre floats it forward, hopefully.
08:49But White is in the way.
08:51And job done for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal.
08:54It was a bit of a struggle in the first half.
08:58Thanks.
