00:00With Galatasaray expected to generate around about five million dollars in tickets and merchandise sales from just this one game.
00:10With a groin injury and naturally he proved a big miss for Galah with the Nigerian striker having scored six
00:18goals this season already.
00:19In fact he's netted in every game and Anthony Gordon, Gordon fresh from scoring his first Barcelona goal at the
00:25weekend.
00:26They just keep going forward and let others worry about what's happening back there.
00:32Pedrick with a clip over the top for Gordon and Gordon in on goal, didn't get proper contact.
00:44Femm in to Jamal.
00:47Jamal with the ball in and it's headed wide by Danny Olmo, flog himself at it.
00:55Engagement now by Yunus Akgun, back with Jao Konsejlo, who forces the save from Xhaka.
01:02Here's Jamal, it hasn't gone far.
01:04Jamal will have the next go.
01:06Yilmaz down he goes, the arms outstretched in the middle, the referee didn't see anything wrong with the challenge.
01:13Gordon didn't appeal himself.
01:20Galatasaray moved down the other end with Raphael Liao, there's the pullback, what a chance this is!
01:25And it's deflected in!
01:28Galatasaray's score against the run of everything!
01:36Batrakov makes it Galatasaray 1, Barcelona 0.
01:40First time, first time Raphael Liao has had the chance to run and drive at people.
01:48And that's the result.
01:50Batrakov with the corner.
01:53It's Ossiman who goes for it!
01:55And it's in for two!
01:56To it or a touch on it, you can be in trouble.
01:59Ossiman just gets a yard from Palkubasi.
02:042-0 or 1-0?
02:07We're about to find out.
02:12It stays 1-0 to Galatasaray and Baris Alpajumas does not have his goal.
02:24A huge, significant moment, had Galatasaray have gone 2-0 up there, wow.
02:30And the noise levels in the stadium would have gone off the charts.
02:35As it is, it's a reprieve for Barca.
02:38We still had the booing with Barcelona on the ball,
02:43but that's now changed through a lot of muttering as people digest
02:46and take stock of what they think they've just seen.
02:51Here's Yunus Atkun.
02:53Galatasaray pushing forward with Batrakov.
02:55Another beauty of a cross.
02:56Here's Raphael Liao.
03:00With a chip in, he's looking for Yunus Atkun.
03:04And he had to wait for it.
03:07So hard for those Galatasaray defenders,
03:10without pressure on the ball, for them to hold their line.
03:14They want to hold, they want to stay as high as they can,
03:16but it's so dangerous.
03:18Fermin got it from Gordon.
03:19Fermin then trying to feed Yamal, who goes down.
03:22Play goes on, and Jal Cancelo puts the ball in
03:26to level it up in Istanbul.
03:32And that's as close as you're ever going to get to silence in this stadium.
03:40Gordon peels away.
03:41Danny Olmo finds him.
03:42Jal Cancelo could be in again.
03:44Gordon went the other way.
03:46Gordon has a go himself.
03:48Shoveled by Shakir, who has to be quick to get back up.
03:51That's what all the goalkeeping drills are for.
03:53Actually, it was a good strike in the end, Anthony Gordon.
03:56I think he would like to have taken it.
03:58The first time he just moved it onto his right foot,
04:01but he had to avoid a challenge,
04:03and that made the angle that little bit tougher.
04:05Still another good stop.
04:07Tell you what, Andy, we've got 30 seconds left,
04:10then at least another couple of minutes, I'd have thought,
04:12until the break.
04:12There's a lot gone on.
04:14There's been plenty going on here.
04:16Plenty more to come as well.
04:18I've really enjoyed it.
04:19It's been a proper game.
04:30Not sure it's actually possible to watch a bad Barcelona game.
04:38Jamal.
04:41Firming.
04:43Lucas Torreira was on the floor,
04:45all scrambling around.
04:46Joao Cancelo in that position again.
04:50Gordon wants it.
04:51Gordon gets it.
04:52And Anthony Gordon brings a fine save from Urgen-Chakir.
04:56Gives Jamal an opportunity.
05:03And that's Danny Olmo.
05:06We've seen that save three or four times from Urgen-Chakir tonight.
05:09Wait till Rodri gets involved.
05:11If he decides to let fly from 30 yards,
05:14that will take some stopping.
05:16Half-time.
05:17It's been a frenetic.
05:23So, referee Marco Guida gives the signal
05:26for the second half to begin.
05:32Marcelo have taken their total to 40 goals scored in nine and a half games in all competitions this season.
05:43And plenty of shots on Urgen-Chakir's goal.
05:47And only one has counted so far.
05:51Yeah, I'm sure everybody watching this one will want more of the same.
05:55I know I do.
05:55I thought that was really enjoyable, first 45.
05:59Barca dominating most of the stats and most of the numbers,
06:01but Galatasaray looking dangerous when they really come in.
06:05And this goal scorer, Joao Cancelo, finding Anthony Gordon,
06:09who pulled it back right in between Cancelo and Danny Olmo.
06:18Gordon goes again.
06:20Pedri goes again.
06:27Yamal, lovely flick, and he gets the return from Fermin.
06:30Looks across for Gordon.
06:33Anthony Gordon presented with a glorious opportunity to give Barcelona the lead.
06:39Yamal, watch this.
06:42Oh, that is so exquisite.
06:44Anthony Gordon's got a score.
06:45He's got it off the shin.
06:46He's just got that on the top of the foot.
06:51Oh, it's all the way over to Baris Alpayilmaz,
06:54who hasn't really cleared it yet.
06:55Here's Gordon.
06:57Here's Yamal.
06:58Yamal over the top.
07:00And headed in.
07:02Barcelona put themselves in front.
07:05Fermin Lopez.
07:08Pedri.
07:08Here is Lamine, Yamal again.
07:12Yamal with the skill.
07:14He's kept it in.
07:15Now it's Gordon, and he's put it in.
07:183-1 Barcelona.
07:20Yamal makes another one.
07:24Gordon this time does.
07:27At the weekend, the scorer of 27 Champions League goals for Manchester City and Arsenal previously.
07:33And Kareem Adeyemi is going to get a few minutes as well.
07:36Anthony Gordon and Danny Olmo have gone off.
07:39Now, Mali showing him outside.
07:42Yamal goes inside and plays a lovely ball through towards Jesus.
07:45Now it's Adeyemi.
07:47Now it's 4-1 Barca.
07:51Running away with it in Istanbul.
07:55Sumptuous football.
07:56And for the talk of a 500 million euros release clause, as the tame effort from Nugachuk, who does not
08:04cause Sean Garcia any bother at all.
08:09Jesus.
08:12Joe Cancelo has Adeyemi with him.
08:15Here is Adeyemi.
08:17And Adeyemi only finds the side of the net this time.
08:21Let's have a look here.
08:23Shall I?
08:23Just puts a hand on him, doesn't he?
08:25But is it enough?
08:27Let's have a look from this angle.
08:30I mean, the big debate this year is whether it's him or Harry Kane.
08:34Yeah.
08:37There goes the World Cup winner.
08:40And Yamal clears check here.
08:42Headed off the line by Charlotte.
08:44Absolutely.
08:50Referee, Marco Guida, calls a halt.
08:54Exchange, a warm one between Okan Buruk and Hansi Fleck.
