01:34She may be a cutesy source of comedy these days, but it's best not to forget that when

01:38she was first introduced, Turbo Granny was a menace.

01:42In order to break the curse and free Ocaron of his possession, the duo challenged the supersonic

01:48spirit to a race, which somehow results in them fleeing from the spirit of a giant crab.

01:55We're not sure what's more amazing here, seeing Momo outwit the phantom grandma and her crustacean,

02:06or Ocaron sprinting along to an anime original version of the iconic William Dell Overture.

02:28An underwater showdown in a haunted school against an alien version of the Loch Ness Monster,

02:34an unemployed mantis shrimp, and the return of the Sepoyans.

02:40It's one of the show's craziest battles, what with the intergalactic Nessie blasting out

02:44super-compressed water, thus forcing Ocaron and Momo to combine their new fantastical talents

02:51in the most unorthodox of waves, aka turning Ocaron into a speedboat.

03:05We also see Aira make her debut as a combatant, thanks to the manifestation of her acro-silky

03:11Oh, and the whole thing concludes with them lying soaked in the nude in the school corridor,

03:30Jennifer Lopez Anaconda

03:33The Kito family are the neighbors from hell.

03:41Unnerving, violent gaslighters who also happen to be cryptids in disguise and aren't afraid

03:48When Momo arrives to save Gigi and Ocaron from becoming sacrifices, she has to contend with

03:54the family's matriarch, who aside from being the queen of trash-talking, also apparently

03:59studied martial arts, given that she's able to unleash crazy acrobatics and hard-hitting

04:04strikes, including this little number modeled after Jennifer Lopez's most iconic movie role.

04:18Despite being an action-comedy that deals with phantasmic and cosmic threats, along with a

04:31central plot point being the recovering of the main character's gonads, Dandudan has

04:37unequivocally one of the best romances we've seen in the modern anime scene.

04:48Following their ordeal with Evil Eye, the giant serpent, and the rest, Momo takes a moment

04:53to convey her rapidly developing feelings with the lewdest of gestures, holding hands.

05:07Capturing Evil Eye

05:09There have been many badass anime grannies over the years, but none have quite matched

05:13the sexiness and general aura of Seiko.

05:19Who else do you know that arrives into battle with a baseball bat riding a living mannequin

05:24while slowly descending from a UFO's tractor beam?

05:28Leave it to Seiko to steal the spotlight any chance she gets.

05:35Coming in at the last minute to save the day, she's able to take on the seemingly unbeatable

05:40Evil Eye thanks to a combination of wild swings and using the much-maligned anatomical model

05:46Taro to act as a walking prison.

05:49She knows how to get stuff done.

06:18Then you're in luck, because Hayashi has you covered.

06:23Turns out the sheer magnetic force of their metal is so potent that it can act as a catalyst

06:29for an exorcism, hence why they're called in to help remove Evil Eye from Gigi's body.

06:48They didn't have to go this hard on the music, but they did, and it's incredible, in both

07:02the sub and dub, going as far as to get actual heavy hitters in the industry to bring the

07:08song to life.

07:09Evil Eye may not have been purified, but we appreciate the performance all the same.

07:22Ocaroon vs. Evil Eye Round 1 What happens when you combine a malicious ghost

07:27utterly corrupted by pain and the earnest nature of someone like Gigi?

07:32Unfortunately for everyone, a lethal partnership.

07:35Taking over Gigi's body for himself, the murderous yet naive Evil Eye sets out to slaughter humanity.

07:41Too bad he made the fatal mistake of striking Momo, because now he's got Ocaroon to deal with.

07:52While he's ultimately able to come out on top, Ocaroon is well and truly put through his

07:57paces, given that Evil Eye is stronger, faster, and has a nasty habit of locking his victims

08:05inside his own personal house of horror.

08:11Mecha vs. Kaiju Just when you thought Dandudan couldn't possibly tackle any more tropes and

08:25genres, along comes a Kaiju.

08:42After being set upon by the overblown space dino, not even Ocaroon, Momo, and Airu's combined supernatural

08:50talents are enough to do any real damage.

08:52So, what do they do?

08:54They use the alien building blocks that make up their house and make a damn good mecha.

08:59Well, of sorts.

09:08Thanks to the Gundam-obsessed Kinta, along with a pinch of shrine influence, the crew creates

09:14a colossal Buddha.

09:16The ensuing class is an otaku fever dream that we can't help but adore.
