00:00Battle, of course, between two teams we expect to contend for the NL East Divisional Crown this year.
00:07Philadelphia on the road, a very slight underdog, but Aaron Nola gets the start.
00:12Even money price on that money line, plus 100, minus 118 on the other side for the Amazons,
00:18who send out Tyler McGill.
00:19Eight is that total today, DRS, up in Queens.
00:22What's the play?
00:24Yeah, the Phillies blew a game yesterday, but also Saturday as well.
00:27Like, that bullpen has been chewed up and spit out.
00:29They hold on for an 11-10 victory, and they're up 11-4 in that game.
00:32And yesterday, a 4-1 lead against the lowly Marlins.
00:34The bullpen gives it up on an error that should have been called by Bryce Harper late in that game,
00:39but wasn't.
00:39They lose in extras yesterday.
00:41Now they head to New York.
00:42Now, if you're looking at old-school numbers, like ERA-wise, they don't like Aaron Nola.
00:46But new-school numbers and analytics, Aaron Nola isn't that bad.
00:49Case in point, Tyler McGill, 19 innings pitched this season, a 140 ERA, which is fantastic,
00:55and a 340 XFIP number, which is decent as well.
00:57Aaron Nola comes in at 21 and two-thirds innings pitched.
01:00His ERA close to a 7, but his analytical number, right next to Tyler McGill.
01:05So that should be interesting to find out.
01:06So for me, I look at the price point.
01:08I'm probably going to lean more towards the New York Mets, even though I'm cheering for
01:10the Phillies.
01:11Just don't like what I saw the past two days out of that bullpen, and maybe it is a close
01:15game late.
01:16Are you still going to trust that Phillies bullpen to get it done on the road?
01:19Right now, it looks like Francisco Lindor waking up.
01:21Juan Soda's there.
01:22Pete Alonzo.
01:23Aaron Nola needs to reach back and give him one of those Aaron Nola starts that we know he has.
01:27But again, just based on the bullpen of what I saw this weekend, that's playing better
01:31baseball.
01:32Going to give the nod to the Metropolitans today at home up there at Citi Field.
