00:07 My name's Tim Brown, I'm the Chief Executive Officer of Dantia.
00:11 Dantia is Lake Macquarie's economic development company
00:14 and we're really here to drive investment and jobs in the city of Lake Macquarie.
00:20 To me, innovation, I want to make sure that innovation
00:26 is not confused with invention.
00:28 You don't need to create something brand new to be innovative.
00:33 We're guided by our four strategic pillars around innovation,
00:37 identity, investment and infrastructure.
00:40 We help with businesses who might have some challenges around DAs
00:45 as part of a DA concierge service that we offer.
00:48 We advocate for infrastructure projects that can unlock jobs and investment.
00:53 So in terms of the future around the innovation,
00:55 we know that our key growth areas as we see them are advanced manufacturing,
01:00 the renewable energy in advanced manufacturing,
01:02 construction and allied health.
01:04 So we really are keen to help join the dots
01:07 and for businesses in Lake Macquarie
01:10 to have every advantage they can to be successful and to grow.
01:14 We're not just about getting new businesses here,
01:17 we're also about making sure that businesses in Lake Macquarie
01:19 stay in Lake Macquarie, can expand in Lake Macquarie.
01:22 There is just an incredible wealth of businesses
01:27 that no one's really heard about doing some phenomenal things
01:32 at a local, at a national, at an international scale.
01:35 So to be able to tap into that and help them get that exposure
01:38 and advocate for them where I can is really exciting.
