Booster interval to be shortened to 4 months from January 4

Health officials have confirmed the vaccine booster program will be accelerated in response to the Omicron variant. The interval will be reduced to 4 months from January 4, and then again to 3 months from the end of January. Professor Angela Webster is an epidemiologist from the University of Sydney's school of public health, she says, we may see coronavirus become less pandemic and more endemic soon.
