Booster interval to be shortened to 4 months from January 4

The vaccine booster program will be accelerated, as health officials respond to the Omicron variant. The interval will be reduced to 4 months from January 4, and then again to 3 months from the end of January. The opposition leader has criticised the government for not making the call sooner.
