12:33December 7th at the ECW Arena may have seen the emergence of the new Triple Threat.
12:38The World Television Champion, the franchise Shane Douglas, who was the focal point of the first Triple Threat, along with the bulldozer for hire Brian Lee, who we think is still associated with the World Heavyweight Champion Raven, at least when Raven pays him, and Chris Candido, a true superstar in every sense of the world who is now with Extreme Championship Wrestling.

13:03That's the thing about the franchise. He manipulates everything around him, including perception.

22:24And those two men came face-to-face for the first time after November to remember.

22:38And that one-on-one matchup was signed for December 7th at the ECW Arena.

22:58But that matchup has stirred up a lot of speculation behind the scenes here in ECW.

27:58Oh, 1996 was a vintage year for the franchise and Francine.
28:03People tried to get at us, and once in a while they did.
28:07But each and every stinking one of them paid the price for doing it.

28:18And as we head into 1997, oh, there's so many people nipping at our heels.

28:59It had to be the franchise Shane Uggers.

29:13He won the ECW World Television title belt from Too Cold Scorpio.
29:19And didn't duck him in any rematches.
29:23That one night, Scorpio could not take on the franchise.
29:26He had a serious leg infection, which sent him to the hospital.
29:29And instead, the franchise beat challenger after challenger after challenger
29:34until he finally made the mistake of haunting Pitbull number two,
29:38who at the time was managed by Francine,
29:41who we didn't know was already in bed with the franchise, so to speak.
29:45But the plan backfired.
29:48Because on that night, Francine didn't have a chance to double cross Pitbull number two.
29:53He defeated the franchise for the World Television title belt.
29:56And then the two men again in a four-quarters matchup.
