Assam Floods: Incessant rains in Assam have triggered a flood situation in several parts of the state | అస్సాంలో భారీ వర్షాలు, వరదలు బీభత్సం సృష్టిస్తున్నాయి. 11.09 లక్షల మంది ప్రజలు వరద బాధితులుగా మారారు. 19782.80 హెక్టార్లకు పైగా పంట భూములు వరద నీటిలో మునిగిపోయాయి. దీంతో రైతులంతా ఆవేదన చెందుతున్నారు. వరదల దృష్ట్యా వివిధ జిల్లాల్లో భారీ వర్షపాతం హెచ్చరిక జారీ చేశారు అధికారులు.
