A Japanese cocktail stirrer that tells you the alcoholic strength of the drink you are about to sip!
The metal Swizzle stick, heavily gilted, has six coloured plastic rings in a cage at the bottom end. Each ring has a different density and sinks or floats depending on the specific gravity of the liquid. You than look at the accompanying instructions to see what that means. For instance if two rings sink, the drink is 20% proof.
Made and sold in Japan in the early 1990s as 'Muddler Magic'.
