This is the moment a lightning bolt appears to hit the ground just yards from where a woman is filming.

The unnamed woman was out in wet weather in Maoming, China when a bolt seemingly crashes down nearby.

She can be heard screaming in a short clip, before running into a shop.

The video was shot on May 8.
