Shen Yun Performing Arts at New York's David Koch Theater astounds a professional hip-hop dancer.

This professional hip-hop artist comes from a different style of dance. Nonetheless, he appreciates the beauty and complexity of Shen Yun Performing Arts.

[Jeff Lapes, Hip-Hop Dancer]:
"On a scale of one-to-ten, I mean it's a ten for sure, just because there're so many different aspects involved in that dance. It's a lot to try to grasp, honestly.

"When they were using, whatever they were there—towels or fans at the end. And they were spinning them around and throwing them in the air, the women."

"Seeing the Chinese culture in that way—so colorful and vibrant and full of life."

"It made everyone feel that they could understand it. It was simple yet very intricate, which was amazing."

While some say that math is the most international language, art, dance, and music is something that needs no skill to appreciate.
