Venezuela mourns Chavez as coffin paraded through streets

A mother's loss - a nation's grief.
The coffin of late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez was carried out of a military hospital in Caracas Wednesday accompanied by his grieving mother and daughter.
The flamboyant, outspoken and sometimes controversial leader died Tuesday at age 58 after a two-year battle with cancer.
State TV aired images of the casket paraded through the streets of the capital, where tens of thousands of supporters - known here as "Chavistas" - gathered to honor their late President.
Condolences have come in from around the world.
And at the United Nations, a moment of silence was held for the man who once used the U.N. pulpit to call former U.S. President George W. Bush the "devil".
Chavez' body will lie in state for three days before his public funeral scheduled for Friday.
Authorities have not said where Chavez will be buried but the government has ordered seven days of mourning.
