A huge swarm of 30 million locusts have blown through Egypt causing alarm and unrest because they permeate everything and are notorious for annihilating crops.
It happens every year so it's not necessarily a new thing. Not that it's anything you can get used to or ever be comfortable with but it's funny how words like Biblical and apocalyptic manage to find their way into the story.
