The awards season will be arriving soon people but the nominations are already spilling in. For Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role we have Daniel Day Lewis for his towering performance in Lincoln, John Hawkes' sympathetic turn in The Sessions, Denzel Washington's tortured turn in Flight and Bradley Cooper's superb portrayal in Sliver Linings playbook. For Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role we got Jessica Chastain's gritty performance in the controversial film Zero Dark Thirty, The ever impressive Jennifer Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook, Marion Cotillard for Rust & Bone, veteran actress Helen Mirren for Hitchcock, and Naomi Watts for the impossible. For Outstanding Motion Picture we have Argo, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Les Miserables, Lincoln, and Silver linings Playbook.
