Quick! Take cover or more like get rid of your cover. Bedbugs are overtaking our country. Their latest target - libraries.

The Central Library in Tulsa has been closed until further notice after bedbugs were discovered on a few chairs.

Just hearing the name "bed bugs" can make anyone cringe. They are brownish in color, visible to the eye, and about a quarter of an inch. They are not known to carry any serious diseases however their bite can be itchy and in some cases, infectious.

To fully assess the situation, Central Library is bringing on Ms. Liberty Belle, a bedbug-sniffing dog that will be coming from Norman.

The library's CEO notes, as reported by Tulsa World, if bedbugs are found elsewhere, the exterminator will decontaminate the building and any furniture with bedbugs will be destroyed.

They certainly seem to be a lot more thoughtful about attacking this problem, unlike a Kentucky woman who poured excessive amounts of alcohol on her couch to kill bedbugs and accidentally dropped a lit cigarette, causing a massive fire..

Have you ever had a bedbug problem?
