Student Bill of Rights- Racine

The Student Bill of Rights is a document that outlines and explains the rights that students and teachers of the Racine and Milwaukee areas should be entitiled to. Over 1,000 students from Youth Empowered in the Struggle worked together to produce the final document. It has already passed in Milwaukee and is being submitted to the Racine Unified School Board on April 16th. Come to show the school board that we are serious about getting the bill passed! The event will start at the Racine Labor Center (2100 Layard Ave) at 5:00 PM for a rally and student speakers. Then we will march down the block to Central Office for the School Board meeting that will begin at 6:30 PM. We hope to see you there!
