Multiple blasts rip through Baghdad

Doctors struggle to treat hundreds of wounded after a rash of blasts rip through Baghdad.
The bombings have killed at least 57 people and are the first major attack on the capital since U.S. troops withdrew last week.
Surrounded by wreckage, residents are angry and say they are innocents caught up in a political battle.
(SOUNBITE) (Arabic) UNIDENTIFIED EYEWITNESS, SAYING:
"The politicians fight for posts and kill people. What did those people do? They were just workers."
More than 10 explosions rocked the city after Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, a Shi'ite moved to sideline two Sunni Muslim leaders.
Iraq has a long history of sectarian violence and was almost driven to civil war between Shi'ite and Sunni Muslims a few years ago.
