Yemeni protesters killed in security force clashes

More violence in Yemen's capital Sanaa as at least five protesters are shot dead by security forces on Sunday.
But despite the crackdown, thousands continue to take to the streets to demand the end of President Ali Abdullah Saleh's regime.
On Frlday, at least 12 protesters were killed when security forces opened fire while violence on Saturday left five dead and dozens wounded.
The recent crackdown follows a month-long lull as Yemenis await UN Security Council deliberations on pressuring Saleh to comply with a Gulf Arab initiative and hand over power.
The wily politician, who has ruled Yemen with an iron first for 33 years, has consistently side-stepped plans to force him to resign, despite months of protests.
