As 2010 is the European year for combating poverty and social exclusion, ALDE wishes to seize the opportunity to focus on women from minority groups. Women from minority groups often experience greater difficulty in access to the labour market due to a number of factors such as cultural, language and educational barriers. Therefore they need special attention for protection of their rights. What specific kind of assistance do they need? How do we select the appropriate tools in the fight against discrimination and promotion of equality?
