Shen Yun Praised By Audience in Montreal

Shen Yun Performing Arts finished a four-show run at the Place des Arts in Montreal over the weekend. Members of Montreal’s arts community praised the show.
Ballerina IsaBelle Paquette is a soloist for Les Grand Ballets Canadiens de Montreal. She says her dance experience helps her understand what Shen Yun’s dancers go through to put on such a show.
[IsaBelle Paquette, Ballerina]:
“A lot a lot of hours of work, I imagine they work really hard constantly—I know this through experience because I dance, it requires an enormous amount of effort and work and above all patience.”
For Ms. Paquette, the dancers’ expressions are what made the show memorable.
[Isabelle Paquette, Ballerina]:
“A lot of colors, a lot of life, a lot of smiles. Also what was most memorable is that they seem happy to be there. So all these colors, their smiles—it’s very joyous and delightful to see.”
