00:00Welcome to MojoPlays, and for this list we're looking at the upcoming Switch 2 games
00:04we're most excited to get our hands on. So clear some storage space, you're gonna need it.
00:16This video is brought to you by Order of the Sinking Star. Available October 8th on Steam, Nintendo Switch 2,
00:22and PlayStation 5. Wishlist now.
00:25Order of the Sinking Star. Jonathan Blow has already given puzzle fans Braid and The Witness.
00:30I had never imagined such a device that could fuse realities. Not just mashing together terrains, it weaves the very
00:38laws of nature into a composite home.
00:42Apparently that wasn't enough. His next game, Order of the Sinking Star, is a gigantic puzzle adventure,
00:47tinged in classic fantasy and features more than 1,000 interconnected, handcrafted puzzles spread across four distinct worlds.
00:54Each introduces its own characters, rules, and mechanics before those systems gradually begin colliding in increasingly complicated ways.
01:00Seems like a place they want me to notice.
01:05Have you any idea where we are? I was about to ask you the same thing.
01:09Players can also control multiple heroes, explore the world non-linearly, and step away from a particularly tricky puzzle
01:15until a new perspective, or a sudden spark of insight, brings the solution into focus.
01:20Developer Thekla is promising something vastly larger than Blow's previous games,
01:25which is saying plenty when The Witness already consumed entire notebooks.
01:39Ninjala 2. The Uncharted Planet.
01:41Ninjala fans, your time has come.
01:43The first part of Ninjala 2 is sneaking onto Nintendo Switch 2.
01:49Rather than simply expanding the original's multiplayer arenas,
01:52The Uncharted Planet transforms the series into an open-world action-adventure.
01:56After breaking a forbidden seal, our protagonist and their allies are transported to an unknown planet
02:00and must use Ninja Gum abilities like Gum Hook, Gum Boost, and Gum Balloon to traverse its enormous landscapes.
02:07Use Ninja Gum to freely traverse this vast world in search of clues to get back home.
02:12You can play alone or bring up to three friends into co-op, tackling dungeons and gigantic bosses together.
02:18Even stranger, this is only the first half of a planned two-part story.
02:21Talk about Escalation.
02:22Up to four ninja can team up in local or online multiplayer to chew through tough battles.
02:29Piku Niku 2.
02:34Over half a decade after the original became one of indie gaming's strangest little cult favorites,
02:38Piku makes its grand return, and somehow everything is even more ridiculous.
02:42Piku Niku 2 begins with an escaped sandwich and a shipwreck before scattering Piku's friends across a vast archipelago.
02:48Players will explore, solve puzzles, gossip with the locals,
02:51and gradually discover that the cheerful world conceals another sinister conspiracy.
02:55What do giant fruit, malevolent robot frogs, and an all-powerful potato have in common?
03:01Nothing!
03:02Other than a shadowy conspiracy, of course!
03:05Along the way, expect giant fruit, hostile robot frogs, the wickedness of capitalism,
03:10and something described as an all-powerful potato.
03:12We're in.
03:13Feeling baffled by these affable denizens?
03:16Embrace these strange encounters and bring about an ultimate understanding.
03:21Stage fright.
03:21Oh, this looks pretty good!
03:24Oh, this looks wicked!
03:25Oh, my!
03:27Oh, it's a two-player!
03:29And they're showing so much gameplay!
03:32Friendships beware, because the creators of Overcooked are serving up a new gaming experience.
03:36Stage fright is a two-player cooperative adventure that replaces kitchens with escape room-style puzzles
03:40and a coming-of-age story.
03:42The emphasis remains firmly on communication,
03:44but Ghost Town Games says the challenge will come from your brain rather than frantic reflexes,
03:48which means instead of screaming, you can now calmly elaborate to your partner
03:52why they caused such an egregious game over.
03:54Whether that's on a train, in a maze,
03:57rowing a boat, surrounded by creatures in an escape room,
04:02keeping each other safe,
04:04or getting each other killed.
04:07Online and local co-op are supported, while couples' counseling is sold separately.
04:11Together?
04:13Together.
04:13The Duskbloods.
04:14Turn a wheel.
04:19And transport him
04:23to a night
04:24of moonlight.
04:27To humanity's very dusk.
04:30From software, making a Switch 2 exclusive was already surprising.
04:33Then we learned what the Duskbloods actually is.
04:36Directed by the gaming god himself,
04:38Hidetaka Miyazaki,
04:39this is a PvP-Ve multiplayer action game supporting up to eight players.
04:43Upon the ancient Blood Sovereign's honor...
04:52We are monsters, each vying for blood.
04:56You choose from more than a dozen supernatural bloodsworn, customize them, enter dangerous
05:01matches filled with enemies and rival players, with every passing phase of a match tightening
05:05the screw as you endeavor to earn enough virtue to progress.
05:08It seems to be borrowing a lot from its roguelike cousin Elden Ring, Night Reign, but it's the
05:12mechanical differences and nuances that really have us salivating.
05:14That, and the fact we can play as a steampunk robot named Zork.

05:30I pray that you are able, carrier of blood.
05:37Pokémon Winds and Waves
05:38A brand new Pokémon generation launching exclusively on Switch 2?
05:42Even with Game Freak's recent stumbles a la Scarlet and Violet, we can't help but be excited
05:47about this latest incarnation.
05:52Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves is set to introduce an open world built around windswept islands
05:57and expansive oceans, with some of the highest levels of visual fidelity the franchise has ever seen.
06:06The starter trio look adorable, the archipelago locale makes for a nice change of pace, there's
06:11just a general notion that Nintendo have actively stepped up their game for this one.
06:19All we can do is hope and pray. Xenoblade Genesis
06:22Sometimes a title announcement is all you need. Nintendo has revealed almost nothing about Xenoblade
06:39Genesis. No protagonist, no major gameplay details, no explanation of whether we're getting another
06:43world made from the corpse of something incomprehensibly giant.
06:50What Nintendo has said is that it represents a new beginning for the Xenoblade series. And that's
06:54enough for us. Modeleth Soft delivered one of the most ambitious RPG trilogies of all time with Xenoblade
06:59Chronicles, culminating in the critically acclaimed third installment. Now they get to start fresh on
07:04significantly stronger hardware. New universe? New combat system? Another soundtrack capable of
07:08making us emotional about fictional swords? Shut up and take our money.
07:14Kirby and the World Beyond Kirby finally proved with Forgotten Land that 3D suits him beautifully.
07:19Now Nintendo's doubling down.
07:25Kirby and the World Beyond is another fully 3D adventure, built exclusively for Switch 2,
07:30and promising expansive environments that players can freely explore while creatively using Kirby's
07:34copy abilities. There's another reason the timing feels significant. The game launches in Spring
07:382027, which also marks Kirby's 35th anniversary.
07:50That makes this feel less like a routine sequel and more like Nintendo preparing another major evolution
07:55for the Pink Puff Ball. Seeing Kirby put Link to shame with the Master Sword was already enough to lock
07:59us in.
08:09Metroid Ravenous
08:10Metroid Dread was one of the best entries in Samus Aran's storied history.
08:24Now she's back and she's hungry. Honestly, we would have been happy with a carbon copy of Dread
08:28just to get the taste of Prime 4 out of our mouths, but from everything we've seen,
08:31they've turned Samus from Prey into Predator due to her newfound Metroid abilities.
08:42No more fleeing from Emmy robots. Now every boss and foe in her path is a walking buffet to fuel
08:47her rampage.
08:48Pair that with crisper visuals and the Switch 2's superior hardware,
08:51and this has every chance to become a generational title for Nintendo's Ultimate Bounty Hunter.
08:55Plus, they finally gave Samus a voice that suits her. Take that, Other M!
08:58Even if I have to feed on my enemies to do so,
09:06it's eat or be eaten.
09:10The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
09:20How do you remake arguably the greatest video game of all time? Well, we're not far off from
09:25finding out. Nintendo has rebuilt Link's seminal outing from the ground up for Switch 2,
09:29with completely overhauled visuals, expanded dialogue, voiced cinematics, a newly orchestrated
09:34soundtrack, and a jump button. Yes, gameplay has also been modernized. Link can now hop and dash,
09:52camera movement has been updated, Navi's annoyance level has been substantially reduced, while the
09:57story still follows Link's journey between childhood and adulthood as he attempts to thwart
10:00Ganondorf's pursuit of the Triforce. Nintendo's even supporting microphone-based Ocarina functionality.
10:06Nintendo's touching sacred ground with this one. Can they pull it off?
10:15This video is brought to you by Order of the Sinking Star, available October 8th on Steam,
10:20Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. Wishlist now!
10:24Which upcoming release for the Switch 2 has you most excited? Are you ready to return to Hyrule?
