00:00They are all good, we have another training session this afternoon, so very positive about
00:06everybody.
00:07Really?
00:08So that includes Durian, Christian, Fierro?
00:11Yeah, we have another session, they are all willing to be part of it and we have another
00:15session to try to make sure that they are fit.
00:20No, I think I am here to try to give my opinion, to defend my club, to give the very
00:29best to
00:29our players and in order to do so, obviously, you guys get asked some questions and we need
00:37to respond in the most direct way, I think, and fair way.
00:43I will make mistakes sometimes, but I will try to be as fair as possible.
00:49Well, we discuss many topics in this room, very important, all of them, and we have
00:57a space to talk, to give our opinions, to have discussions, to have personal conversations,
01:03and it is everybody's duty to try to improve the game and that is what we are here for.
01:07Have you heard as a club from ProRef yet, I know you wanted them to look into that?
01:12These are conversations that will remain private as usual and they have to keep that
01:17way.
01:18It is not about the apologies, it is just agreeing that the decision should have been different
01:26or not and maybe they have a different opinion, try to improve and move forward together.
01:32That is all done, that is all in the past, I have huge respect for Fabio and what he has
01:35done and what Brighton has done as a club.
01:38It is just remarkable and tomorrow is going to be a beautiful game to watch, I am sure.
01:44Well, we have got a really tough opponent tomorrow so we are going to have to really earn the
01:48right to win the game but certainly that will be the mindset of the players and the team.
01:53I think we are all very much aligned and whenever the time is right we will get that done.
01:58There is nothing to be concerned about.
02:02Should we read anything into the fact that two years ago it was this time in the international
02:05break that the news came up?
02:07I do not know if the time will be the same or different, I think we both have the same
02:13ambition and the same will so whenever we have time we will get that resolved.
02:18Let's see, it is something that we have to experience, as you have seen, you know, different
02:23national teams, different managers have taken a different approach in terms of the numbers
02:26that they have put in the squad so it is going to be really important to have good communication
02:32with them so they understand where our players are, what we expect, what they expect as well
02:37and work together, that is the best way always.
02:40Well, that is one of the challenges of the schedule and the team has responded so well.
02:48Playing with such a dominance and it does not really matter if we play at home or away,
02:53we want to be the same team and we want to cause the same kind of problems to the opposition
02:57and we have managed to win the three games and we have got the last one against our rates
03:03of opponents, as I said against Brighton tomorrow and we will try to do the same.
03:07Yeah, you cannot coach that, I think that you have it or you don't because it is a split
03:12of a second, it is just a very emotional reaction when you are in the middle of the game and
03:16I absolutely loved it because we have all been there and just encouraging the confidence
03:20that it gives to a 16-year-old to go again and deliver in the next action, it is huge.
03:26I think he has mentioned it already and it is good to see that bond, that connection
03:31within the team to try to help each other, he can play on the left, on the right, in the
03:36middle, he can rotate from there, it is such a dynamic, versatile player that he can deliver
03:43great moments in any position and it will be more down to what we need on the day, the
03:48relationship that we have with the other midfielders and for sure the opponent as well.
03:53That is a great story, I think for any kid as well, to look at trajectories and pathways
03:59and how you can reach the highest level in football and always maintaining that will, that motivation
04:08and that enthusiasm that it can happen and now football and especially internationally is
04:13so connected that you never know, you might be playing a game, somebody scouts you and you
04:17can end up in two or three years time playing at the highest level and that bit has been,
04:23I think it is his mentality.
04:25Obviously he has tremendous quality but he has overcome a lot of difficulties, a lot of challenges
04:30to reach to this point.
04:31When he reached to this point, it wasn't easy in the beginning, he really had to dig in and
04:36improve himself and with all the coaches, with Iñaki especially, doing amazing work with
04:42him daily and all his teammates, well he has the right to be one of the best now.
