07:04Продолжение следует...
07:34The pass was called by the tight end, Hawkinson.
07:38And TJ Hawkinson with a gate of nine for the Vikings on first down.
07:44And I really like that play because that's how you neutralize someone as good as Myles Garrett.
07:48What you do is you actually go right at them.
07:50So they let Myles Garrett come inside, go against Carson Wentz,
07:54and instead they flip it right to TJ Hawkinson where Myles Garrett was,
07:58and there's no defenders around there.
07:59They get a nice game, put the offense in a second in very, very manageable,
08:04second in short, get the run game going,
08:06and then that's how you keep Myles Garrett off balance.
08:11Two tight end shots, second down at one.
08:15Wentz complete.
08:16First down.
08:18Take it out to the 43-yard line.
08:20By Justin Jefferson.
08:23Jerome Baker made the tackle.
08:25The gate of 11.
08:27Talking about moving Justin Jefferson around,
08:29you're watching him go from wide receiver motions back into the running back position
08:33as the dot back, and then boom, he's a quick out to the outside,
08:38makes an easy completion, gets the first down,
08:40and that's how you get him going.
08:41And, of course, that makes it difficult for defensive coordinator Jim Swartz
08:45to just really key in on him,
08:46allow him to go in and out of the motions,
08:48and then still make him a running target.
08:50Vikings have gained at least nine yards on three of their first four plays.
08:55Here's Wentz.
08:55Up first down, going deep for Jefferson.
09:00Nice cover.
09:01No flags with Greg Newsom defending.
09:07That's very nice coverage.
09:10Here's Justin Jefferson hoping that he was going to get a step on Greg Newsom.
09:15Greg Newsom played it all the way,
09:16and what I really like is that as soon as he closes off Justin Jefferson,
09:20he looks back at the football.
09:22He doesn't panic.
09:23He goes into the body of Justin Jefferson.
09:25When you do that, it narrows that catching radius of Justin Jefferson.
09:29That's why he gets a pass breakup.
09:31Coming off a big game in Dublin last week,
09:33Mason returns.
09:34He has a fullback.
09:36On second down with C.J. Hamlin in the way,
09:38it's Mason.
09:39Files loose!
09:45Officials looking for the bottom of the pile.
09:55Still no indication.
09:59Browns have recovered.
10:03Let's make sure you see Greg Newsom.
10:05He's coming off the edge.
10:07He's the one that kind of wraps up Jordan Mason,
10:11and then Alex Wright actually punches the ball.
10:14Gets right on the football,
10:16and the Cleveland Browns are able to make a big play early in this game.
10:22There's Alex Wright.
10:23He knocked it loose.
10:24Our Nobody Does It Better presented by Pepsi Zero Sugar.
10:29You have the Browns defense.
10:30They're coming on a blitz.
10:31Greg Newsom is the one that kind of wraps him up,
10:33and then there is Alex Wright punching at that football.
10:37Gets a solid shot on it.
10:39Forces the ball out,
10:40and then a nice recovery by the Browns,
10:43setting up Daniel Gabriel.
10:45And this is the second time he's starting with some nice field position.
10:50From the Vikings, 47.
10:54Stonko down the sideline,
10:57and Jenkins finally forced out of bounds
10:59at the Minnesota 15-yard line.
11:04Just wanted you to take a look at the blocking up front
11:07and how they're all going to get a hat on a hat.
11:10When you say hat on a hat,
11:11there's going to be one offensive lineman for every defender,
11:14and Quinshawn Jepkins, I love his patience.
11:17Usually rookies are going to go a little too fast,
11:20don't allow their blocks to get set up.
11:21He does, and he goes through the hole,
11:23bursts through the hole,
11:24runs right around Theo Jackson for a big game.
11:2832-yard pickup.
11:29From the 15 on first down, it's Jeff Kitschig.
11:43And he just gave it to Josh Vitellis,
11:46one of the best tacklers for the Vikings.
11:53Let's take a look at this collision at the end of the run.
11:56You talk about finishing off your run.
11:59He recognizes Josh Vitellis.
12:00He gave him everything on that run.
12:07Browns look to capitalize on the takeaway by their defense.
12:11He was up!
12:12Byron Murphy, who's done a phenomenal job, a pro bowler last year.
12:31Look at the pass breakup.
12:32I've been so impressed with the past two years,
12:35the way that he has really stepped up as a cornerback under Brian Flores.
12:39He's gotten his feet better.
12:41He stays square.
12:42His coverage is better.
12:43He comes up in the run game.
12:44Because of that, he made the pro bowler last year,
12:46and you see he's continuing that production today.
12:50Browns ended three tight ends.
12:52Third down and two.
12:54It's Jeff Kitschig.
12:55Stays on his feet.
12:56And then it stops short.
12:58Just watch the defense.
13:11It's a prerequisite for this Brian Flores defense
13:14that everyone has to have lateral quickness
13:16from the defensive line to the linebackers.
13:19You see how fast they flow.
13:21The direct runs have been effective for the Browns.
13:23Those fast-filling stretch runs aren't going to work against the Vikings.
13:26Fourth down, they send in Aidan Huntington,
13:29a defensive lineman, has a fullback,
13:32and Judkins picks up first down yardage.
13:43Gives up a first down and goes back to these direct runs.
13:47Aidan Huntington leading the way.
13:50And Quishon Judkins, he is bowling over this Vikings defense right now.
13:54If I'm Kevin Stefanski, I'm calling more direct runs.
13:57Continue to pound the middle of this Vikings defense
14:01until they figure out how to stop them.
14:04Now Jerome Ford in the backfield.
14:08First and goal for the Vikings.
14:10He's four.
14:13Gabriel handed off and four.
14:16The fourth here back.
14:18Takes it down to the one-yard line.
14:20Gain of three.
14:21Honestly, Kenny, you go four straight runs here.
14:24There's no reason to do anything other than the exact same play,
14:28inside zone, dive play, leads inside,
14:31and continue to just pound the football.
14:33Judkins returns.
14:40Took one play off.
14:42He needed it.
14:47Ready, we got it.
14:49Goal.
14:51Fade to Judkins.
14:52Gabriel, foul.
14:54Touchdown.
14:54Touchdown.
14:58Touchdown.
14:59Touchdown.
15:01Touchdown.
15:02Touchdown.
15:02Touchdown.
15:03Touchdown.
15:03Touchdown.
15:03Touchdown.
15:06Rookie to rookie, and the Browns strike first.
15:09And this is a nice job of Kevin Stefanski.
15:12I said run the ball.
15:13That's a defensive mind, right?
15:14Well, he said they're going to line up for all the runs.
15:16We're going to go and have our run fake play action.
15:20Defensive player loses his eyes.
15:21That's Eric Wilson, and Harold Finney gets an easy touchdown.
15:26His first in the NFL.
15:29And it comes overseas.
15:30André Smith adds the extra point.
15:31André Smith adds the extra point.
15:36Well, Kevin O'Connell, the Vikings head coach, told us yesterday that he knows that Jim Swartz and this Browns defense will play aggressive.
15:44They want to force turnovers.
15:46Browns take advantage of the short field following the take-away.
16:00Seven plays, 47 yards.
16:03Found of the touchdown.
16:05Judkins gained 43 on four carries.
16:09And we've seen this from the Browns.
16:11When they won against the Green Bay Packers, it was complimentary football.
16:15That's what they need to get back to.
16:16They lost against the Lions last week.
16:18Now complimentary football again, and they have a lead.
16:21It's twice on those turns.
16:23For the Vikings, there is a flag.
16:26Take it down at the 27.
16:28And...
16:29During the return, holding.
16:35Receiving team number 41, that's a 10-yard penalty.
16:39First off.
16:42All right, now, second time up for Carson Wentz in this offense.
16:48Kevin O'Connell, he had talked to us about really letting this offensive line adjust to the speed of the front four of the Cleveland Browns.
16:56I mean, he was very complimentary of this Browns front four.
17:00Said that they are the best 2-D front four in the NFL.
17:03And you kind of look around the league, and I agree with them.
17:06These guys get off the football.
17:07They're fast.
17:08They're violent.
17:09They play the run on the way to the quarterback.
17:11Related.
17:11Grishahan.
17:12We're good.
17:14Termos on.
17:15From the 18-yard line, this is Xavier Scott.
17:19Takes it out to the 25.
17:20And that's exactly what I'm talking about with direct runs.
17:25Kevin O'Connell, he's saying, look, we're not going to match their speed, but we can run right at them.
17:29So you see the quick influence trap gets them a nice gain, and they go up-tempo for the second down.
17:35Gators, check it at 3.
17:36Another flag.
17:46False start.
17:48False start.
17:50Offense number 60.
17:51That's a five-run run of it.
17:53Second down.
17:54That's Joe Huber, the rookie out of Wisconsin.
17:57Undrafted.
17:58Making his first start in the National Football League.
18:02A depleted Vikings offensive line without starters.
18:08Donovan Jackson, Ryan Kelly, Brian O'Neal, Michael Juergens also out.
18:14Darasaw is back.
18:16Missed a couple of games.
18:20Second down and eight.
18:22Fire at the penalty.
18:24And it's Miles Garrett who makes the stop.
18:27Wrapping up Scott.
18:29After a short game.
18:31First down and seven upcoming.
18:38For the Vikings, their fourth different starting offensive line combination in five games.
18:44Browns have gone with five different combos.
18:48And there are no excuses.
18:49It's always the next man up mentality.
18:52You see that they're going to have to figure out how to make it work.
18:55Communication is always going to be the key.
18:57Both sides talking about that being the point of emphasis.
19:00We're down at seven.
19:03Lentz throws.
19:04And it's complete.
19:04Jefferson.
19:06For a Vikings first down out to the 36.
19:1115-yard connection.
19:14And here's Justin Jefferson.
19:15He's going to be in the slot.
19:17And what you're going to see is the rub route from Jalen Naylor.
19:21And what you love is that he's clearing out the space, right?
19:24That's the way that Kevin O'Connell really loved the way he dials up these offenses.
19:28That's the way to make sure that there's no safety help, right?
19:31The safety has to help the immediate guy, Jalen Naylor.
19:34And then Justin Jefferson gets to the outside, gets that easy completion for a first down.
19:41Naylor in motion.
19:42From the 36, fake to Scott.
19:47Wentz fires.
19:50Incomplete.
19:51Intended for Naylor with Newsom defending.
19:53What I like about Wentz, the offense, they all understand the Browns defense are going to
20:03make plays, right?
20:04It's not like we're just going to march down the field, get 400 yards of offense on them.
20:08Jim Schwartz, he understands Carson Wentz.
20:10Remember, they played, or excuse me, they were together with the Philadelphia Eagles for
20:15five years.
20:15So they understand each other.
20:17You look at that defense first across the board.
20:20They do a very nice job, but you have to understand, pick and choose when you want to take your
20:24shots.
20:28Second down and 10, wide open, Jefferson.
20:31Another first down.
20:33His third reception takes it out to the 48, gate of 12.
20:43And Jim Schwartz bringing in some bodies now and take a look at the way that they're using
20:48Justin Jefferson, at some point, you know that they're going to take the shot downfield.
20:52You have Jordan Addison that can run, he can clear out those DBs, and then you're going
20:56to see Justin Jefferson going to be the one with what's called a dig route, 18-yard in-routes
21:01where he has made so much money off of that route.
21:08Well, that's our first down.
21:09There's a flag far side of the field.
21:11Offside, offense number 84, lined up offside.
21:26That's a five-yard penalty.
21:28Good stuff.
21:29Tight end, Josh Oliver.

21:49Great to be here today from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London, 10 miles northeast
21:56of Buckingham Palace.
21:58First down at 15.
22:00It's Hodgkinson who's forced out of bounds by Ronnie Hickman.
22:08Game of five.
22:10Second and ten upcoming.
22:12Vikings, the first team in NFL history to play consecutive international games in different
22:18cities.
22:19Lost to the Steelers in Dublin, Ireland last Sunday.
22:23They sent 37,000 pounds of equipment on a ship to Dublin in July.
22:27Wow.
22:28It arrived in September and then everything was transferred over to London last weekend.
22:36Second down at 10.
22:37Fake to Scott.
22:38Wentz throws.
22:39It's Naylor.
22:40Puts up the Vikings' first down in grounds territory.
22:44That's a nice job.
22:45Carson Wentz designed rollout for Carson Wentz.
22:48Half rollout.
22:49And if you notice, they are not wasting any time.
22:52If the guy is open, then they're throwing it.
22:54Everything has been to the outside and you're going to see that Jalen Naylor, he doesn't
22:58waste time getting into his route.
22:59You saw the pressure on Carson Wentz, but that route was open.
23:03And if you notice, everything is going out to the sideline because it is hard to cover
23:07out there, right?
23:08You have the sideline as your friend, as a defensive guy, but everything is being, you're
23:12being taught to cover everything inside.
23:14So, those out-breaking routes are going to be open.
23:18Late at 20.
23:18This is Cam Akers.
23:19He throws wide open.
23:22Touchdown, Josh Oliver.
23:31What a play, Kenny.
23:36Before the Browns could even recognize that Cam Akers is at the quarterback spot, it was
23:42too late.
23:43Look who's at the quarterback position right now.
23:45Cam Akers, he gets it, and they snap it quickly, fake the run, and get it to Josh Oliver, who
23:51never catches the football for the Vikings.
23:54It's usually TJ Hawkinson at that tight end spot, and Josh Oliver is the one that gets
23:58the receiving touchdown.
24:03Reichert adds the extra point.
24:05The Vikings have tied the game at 7.
24:20Welcome back to the NFL London Games, presented by NetApp.
24:25Vikings drive eight plays, 82 yards.
24:32Cam Akers, first career pass attempt, and it's a touchdown to Josh Oliver.
24:36Akers, the former Ram, spent some time with the Texans, was in training camp this year with
24:41the Saints, his third stint with the Vikings.
24:43And that was a good-looking drive.
24:46Nice balance of running pass from Kevin O'Connell.
24:49Nice execution by the offense.
24:50And takes it out to the 34-yard line.
25:00Yeah, usually when you see the running back in the dot position, it's Wildcat, right?
25:03There's no quarterback back there.
25:05Instead, Kevin O'Connell taking full advantage of that aggressive grounds defense.
25:11Cam Akers faking like he was going to run a toss play, and throws a beautiful pass to
25:15Josh Oliver for the touchdown.
25:16There's Carson Wentz, he told us, the big plays will come.
25:20We just got to make them.
25:21That was one of the big plays.
25:23It came, and they made it.
25:24Right, so we have to be patient against this Browns defense.
25:28Junkies.
25:30First down, not much.
25:35Vero Jackson made the stop.
25:38Yeah, I'm really interested to see the interior of the Vikings defense.
25:43How are they going to handle stopping the run?
25:45And that inside run game was really working for the Browns.
25:48If they have that, they can just stay patient, continue to pound the rock.
25:52So I notice that they're starting to rotate some of those defensive tacklers in there and
25:56see if they can stop the run.
25:57Pirates and Smith, six-time pro ball around the field for the Vikings.
26:00Pass is caught by Sampson.
26:03Right across the 40.
26:05Dylan Sampson, the rookie out of Tennessee.
26:07Who caught the first touchdown pass in Dylan Gabriel's career in Baltimore.
26:15Back in week two, Gabriel connecting with another rookie, Harold Fennett, in the end zone here today.
26:22Now, these rookies have been extremely productive for the Browns.
26:26If you're a Browns fan, get excited about the rookies that you have because they're going to only get better and better.
26:32Right now, being really productive, especially on the offensive side.
26:36We're down at four.
26:38Gabriel complete fadding.
26:40I think the stretch.
26:41He reaches across.
26:43The stretch, and Fennett picks up a Browns first down.
26:47Yeah, he is one of the rookies that we're talking about being productive.
26:51Kevin Sampson actually went out to Bowling Green.
26:54He wanted to make sure that he had a strong football IQ because they ran no huddle in Bowling Green.
26:59So he goes there, interviews with Harold Fennett, and he said after about ten minutes, he knew it was a waste of time.
27:05This guy knows football, high football IQ.
27:07He knows how to run routes.
27:08But you see how good he is in the passing game and in the blocking game as well.
27:12Now he's lined up at fullback position.
27:15Growing up in Kenton, Ohio, home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
27:19Here's Jenkins.
27:20On the field.
27:21Jenkins inside the 30.
27:23And he will take it all the way, but there is a flag.
27:30Two penalty markers down.
27:38Scott Novak will huddle up with a couple of other officials.
27:43Looking at the body language of the Browns, I think might be on the offense.
27:48There are two fouls, both against the offense.
27:51Holding.
27:52Offense number 16.
27:54That penalty's the point.
27:55Holding.
27:56Offense number 44.
27:58That's a ten-yard penalty.
28:00First down.
28:01So two Cleveland penalties on the play.
28:04Yeah, the first one was on Fannin.
28:07Lined up on the left side.
28:08And, yeah, that is a clear hold right there.
28:13As they keep going, Isaiah Bond, he also gets a hold.
28:16But that's part of what I mentioned earlier about the lateral quickness of the Vikings, right?
28:22So for the Browns' front four, their defense, it's about adjusting to the D-line.
28:26And as they get up the field and penetrate, for the Vikings, you have to adjust to their lateral speed.
28:31Pace got out there so quickly.
28:33Kind of surprised Harrell Fannin, which is why he had that holding call.
28:38So following the penalty, it's a first down and 20 from the 34-yard line for Gabriel and the Browns.
28:46Tried to swing it out, but Jalen Redmond is off to a terrific start this season.
28:52Had a couple of sacks in last week's game.
28:55He got a piece of it.
28:56Yeah, Jalen Redmond, he's been having a phenomenal pass two or three weeks.
29:01Really starting to come into his own.
29:02Nice job just reading the quarterback's eyes, matching his hand.
29:05When we asked defensive coordinator Brian Flores about him, he said he was basically a training camp body.
29:10Brought him in.
29:12He was undrafted.
29:13Played in the UFL.
29:14And he's earned the starting spot.
29:16Right, that's the beauty of training camp, right?
29:18The expectations were that he was just going to be a body.
29:20He starts playing and performing.
29:22It's a performance-based business.
29:23And he's now earned a starting spot.
29:25Pass is caught by five.
29:28Oh, second and 20.
29:30As time winds down in this first quarter from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
29:36The Browns struck first, following a takeaway by their defense.
29:40Gabriel to Fannin in the end zone.
29:43And then Cam Akers took a direct snap for the Vikings.
29:46Found Josh Oliver.
29:48Tied at seven as we head to quarter number two.
29:51Welcome back to the NFL London Games, presented by NetApp.
30:00As we get set for the second quarter, look at the numbers over the first 15 minutes.
30:07And I'm looking at the rush yards.
30:10Vikings, Browns, the Browns two to one.
30:14And that's really what Kevin Sabansky has wanted.
30:17Ball control for that offense.
30:19Movement prior to the snap.
30:24Ball start.
30:25Offense number 68.
30:27Five-yard penalty.
30:28So down.
30:30Moments ago, Sarah Walsh chatted with Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell.
30:35Cam Akers just elevated from the practice squad this week.
30:39Throws a first-quarter touchdown.
30:40What made you dial up that play?
30:41Oh, well, you know, there's some looks sometimes you think you may have a good chance at a play.
30:47And Cam and I have a pretty great history together.
30:50It started with me evaluating him in college, where I think he threw about four or five touchdowns in college.
30:55So this is something that luckily we knew about in our opponent.
30:58We may know.
31:00Coach so much.
31:00Thank you.
31:03Another flag.
31:04Pass was caught by Njoku.
31:06Legal formation on the offense.
31:08Number 68 was in the backfield.
31:10That penalty would be declared.
31:12Fourth down.
31:12So, as Kevin O'Connell mentioned, he and Cam Akers have quite a history.
31:17O'Connell was the offensive coordinator with the Rams when they drafted Akers back in 2020.
31:23They spent a couple of seasons together.
31:26Won a Super Bowl.
31:272021 season.
31:29And, yes, Cam Akers did throw the football during his Florida State days.
31:35Five for eight.
31:36And this was his first pass attempt in the NFL.
31:38It's making me wonder, did they practice that in the Rams days?
31:42And he just kind of carried it over, just holding it in his back pocket, right?
31:45Just a little trump card for a rainy day.
31:49He got the touchdown.
31:51Yeah, pulled it out on a sunny day in London.
31:54Kick off.
31:56Excuse me.
31:57Punt out of bounds.
32:00Here in London with the Vikings and Browns.
32:06Let's look at next-gen stats, powered by AWS.
32:09There's Justin Jefferson, his alignment, wide left, wide right, slot, and then tight in the backfield.
32:16So, the wide left, wide right, that really means that he was at the X or the Z.
32:20He used to just predominantly play that.
32:22And when Jordan Addison was hurt early in the season, he was kind of stuck there because they just weren't allowed to be able to motion him because they didn't have other receivers that were as versatile as Jordan Addison.
32:32So, now that Jordan Addison came back, they're able to move Justin Jefferson around a lot more, and they're finding these one-on-one matchups.
32:39Here's Naylor, took the handoff from Wentz, and it picks up the Vikings' first down.
32:46Out to the 36-yard line, gate of 15.
32:52And we're going to watch Jalen Naylor.
32:54He's going to start left to right.
32:56He's going to pick this up, a fly sweep.
32:58And what you like about this is how quickly he wastes no time getting around the corner.
33:02Alex Wright, before he even recognized that Naylor had the football, it was too late.
33:06He was already around for a first down.
33:09Now the gift to Mason, his first carry since he had the ball knocked loose earlier.
33:15Then it won, Devon Bush the tackle.
33:18Second down at nine, upcoming for the Vikings.
33:24This has been a really good chess match early on between O'Connell, Jim Schwartz.
33:30Both of them, a ton of respect for each other, recognizing how good the other one is.
33:35And the chess match has really been the balance of the Vikings' offense.
33:40Not just run-past balance, but inside and outside.
33:44Keeping Jim Schwartz offbeat of when he wants to call those blitzes and dial it up.
33:49Wentz on second and nine.
33:51Catch is made by Mason.
33:53Out of the backfield.
33:54You mentioned earlier, Wentz and Schwartz together five years in Philadelphia.
33:58Schwartz, the defensive coordinator.
34:00The Eagles won the Super Bowl after Wentz suffered the injury that Foles leaded Philadelphia to the championship.
34:07But Schwartz told us yesterday if, in his opinion, if Wentz hadn't gotten hurt, he said he would have been holding the trophy at the end of the year.
34:16And I 100% agree with him.
34:18I remember that Wentz was playing the best ball of any quarterback until he got hurt.
34:24I mean, it was like he arrived, right?
34:26Everyone thought they got their guy for the next 10, 15 years.
34:29He was playing that well.
34:31That started for his six different NFL team the last six seasons.
34:36Four down and nine.
34:37And the flag was thrown as the pass bounced away from Hawkinson.
34:46Well, the quarterback was in the pocket.
34:48Legal contact on the defense number 26.
34:51It's a five-yard penalty in the automatic.
34:53First down.
34:56That's on Miles Harden.
35:03Makes it an automatic first down, excuse me.
35:05So the third down, they were about to get off the field, potentially give the offense a good field position instead.
35:12You have the penalty, now it's first and 10.
35:13We've set it down for this Vikings offense.
35:213-80.
35:22Good shot.
35:24Terrible shot.
35:26Toss to Scott.
35:29Well, continued Scott is across midfield.
35:33Knocked out of bounds by Schlesinger.
35:35After a game of nine, it's a Cleveland Browns territory.
35:42Again, this is extremely hard for the Browns defensively.
35:46Carson Schlesinger, the phenomenal rookie.
35:49He's playing every snap, calls the plays, does a very nice job for him.
35:53But I know at that middle linebacker position, his eyes are all over the place right now, right?
35:57Because you have guards pulling one way, and then a quarterback flipping it out to Xavier Scott going the other way.
36:02You have fly sweeps.
36:03You just, it's really, really hard to just focus in and lock in because Kevin O'Connell has your eyes going everywhere with this offense.
36:10With Miles Garrett on the sidelines, Wentz on second and one, steps up, throws, and it's incomplete.
36:16He was looking for Jefferson with Denzel Warren in his 100th NFL game defending.
36:25And this is a nice job getting pressure, really nice coverage by the Browns.
36:32Carson Wentz stepping into it, and Justin Jefferson, he can get most footballs.
36:37He couldn't get that one.
36:38Garrett back in, third down at one.
37:00Nice job, defense.
37:01Brad Delpit leading the way.
37:05That's one call.
37:06If I'm Kevin O'Connell, I want that back.
37:11It was too easy to diagnose.
37:13You're going to watch Carson Wentz, an easy flip.
37:16Look how quickly that defense just flies to the football.
37:18Mason had no chance.
37:20It's Avery McGuire is right there for the tackle for loss.
37:23Creates a punting situation.
37:26Isaiah McGuire does a nice job there.
37:27Excuse me.
37:29McGuire along with Delpit.
37:30The rookie, Gage, long of the game.
37:39Calls for the fair catch.
37:41At the 10-yard line, 40-yard punt.
37:45Rob's football when we return.
37:47It's time for defensive spotlight presented by Defender.
37:52Look at the pass yards allowed per game by the Vikings.
37:58They have the most interceptions over the last two seasons.
38:01And Isaiah Rogers with both defensive touchdowns in the same game a couple of weeks ago against the Bengals.
38:11Those interceptions, you've got to give a lot of credit to both Brian Flores and his concepts, his schemes, but really the players.
38:21Every week, he mentions fundamentals greater than scheme.
38:25And those players have bought into the fundamentals, reading their keys, keeping an eye of discipline.
38:31Because of that, they're getting all these turnovers.
38:33The big plays come when their fundamentals are sound.
38:36Rookie, Dillon Gabriel, and the Browns start from the 11.
38:40Look out to Fannin.
38:42And it's three.
38:44Fannin with the Browns touchdown earlier.
38:49Fannin gets up a little gingerly in there.
38:52There's Brian Flores, who has really done a phenomenal job.
38:55Really enjoyed talking with him, right?
38:56We actually started off the conversation about traveling.
39:00He loves to travel.
39:01You see the defensive ranks and goes back to the fundamentals I mentioned.
39:04But really enjoyed talking with him about his trip to Florence.
39:07He enjoyed that.
39:09Every year, he goes traveling with his family.
39:11They have a great time.
39:12And I can see it takes a little bit off of him mentally.
39:14And then they get right back into it when the season starts.
39:19Gabriel taken down at the 11-yard line.
39:22A loss of three.
39:24And speaking of that defense and getting after it, you're looking at Dallas Turner.
39:29Dallas Turner is their first-round pick from two years ago.
39:32He is extremely athletic.
39:34I mean, this guy runs a sub-4-5.
39:36He is big, fast, very fluid in space.
39:40And they are really getting after him.
39:41You want to use him in the pass pressure where he gets the sack.
39:44And this floor is 9-1 with the rookie quarterbacks.
39:47And what he does is he just overloads them, right?
39:50There's so much volume of defense that they have to try to diagnose.
39:54They can't do it.
39:55And he gets the W.
39:56That's as the head coach of Miami and defensive coordinator in Minnesota.
40:00Gabriel steps up.
40:03And will be taken down.
40:05Nice tack.
40:05About two yards shy of the marker by Harrison Smith working his way back into this Vikings defensive unit.
40:14Missed some time during training camp and preseason.
40:17So, I like both sides of the football here.
40:19Dylan Gabriel made sure not to put the ball in harm's way.
40:23He tucks it.
40:24You see him tucking it.
40:25Run.
40:25Tries to get the first down.
40:27And then Harrison Smith, he's been one of the best safeties for the past decade.
40:30Making a beautiful open field tackle for a fourth down.
40:36Playing a little more each and every week.
40:38Getting his body adjusted.
40:40I mean, can't just go from zero to 100, right?
40:43And Brian Flores, Kevin O'Connell doing a nice job.
40:46He's in the back and forth place.
40:50Flag on the play.
40:51Terrific kick.
40:52Taking Mike Price back at the 23.
40:56Nine-yard return.
40:58But we will check in once again with Scott Novak.
41:07During the return.
41:09Holding.
41:10Receiving team number 13.
41:12That's a 10-yard penalty.
41:13First down.
41:14Timeout.
41:16So, a 58-yard punt.
41:18And penalty guardage will be added on from London.
41:23Seven apiece.
41:28Carson Wentz, the Vikings offense, back on the field.
41:31He grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota.
41:33Six-hour drive to Minneapolis.
41:36A huge Minnesota Vikings fan.
41:38He said, we watch the Vikings every Sunday.
41:40Went to some games at the Metrodome.
41:42He was there when Adrian Peterson set an NFL record back in 2007 with 296 yards on the ground.
41:49Wentz was 14 years of age at the time.
41:51And he said, it was really cool to pull out the uniform for his first home start.
42:00As he hands it off.
42:02Out to the 18-yard line at Scott.
42:06It was interesting to talk to him because that was the only time when he made his first start
42:11that his family actually came.
42:13And it was something a little more personal, right?
42:16Usually, the NFL, you understand.
42:18Take the emotions out.
42:19It's a business.
42:20And he said the other times when he had started and he was playing, they didn't really come out.
42:24It didn't mean as much to him.
42:26This time, it meant a lot.
42:28And you can see that it's really personal for him.
42:29He's really enjoying the moment.
42:31He's living through it.
42:32And he's playing really good football for Kevin O'Connell and the Vikings.
42:38Rookie last season, J.J. McCarthy missed the entire year.
42:42Started the first two games this season.
42:45As Wentz throws away, McCarthy working his way back from the ankle injury.
42:52So, it's Wentz taking his third straight start.
42:56At his third start overseas as we take a look at some of the key games later to date.
43:09Great turnout here today.
43:12Vikings fans.
43:13I really saw a bunch of jerseys.
43:14But right now, still more than Vikings fans here.
43:17You see a nice blend of purple.
43:19And the Browns fans showed up as well.
43:21It's been a nice turnout.
43:22It's been a great game so far.
43:24Now, jerseys are just about every NFL team.
43:27Penalty marker.
43:28On third down.
43:31Free play for Wentz.
43:33And oh, that's the catch.
43:35Jalen Naylor.
43:37Finally forced out of bounds.
43:44The officials getting together.
43:47Here's Scott Novak.
43:48There are fouls against 14s on the play.
43:56Offside defense number 95.
43:59Holding.
44:00Offense number 64.
44:02Those fouls will offset.
44:04They're down.
44:07And the first is on Miles Garrett.
44:10Let's take a look at Miles.
44:11That's the offside.
44:15That's the offside.
44:16And then there's a hold.
44:18That's Blake Brando.
44:22That's a nice shot on him.
44:25But that's Carson on Carson.
44:27Carson on Carson crime.
44:29Blake Brando playing center.
44:31And he's the one that held on Mason Graham.
44:33This is his first time playing center.
44:35And we haven't called his name.
44:37Usually if we're not talking about the offensive line,
44:39then these are doing a good job.
44:40So Blake Brando holding his own right now.
44:43Burned out at six.
44:44Following the offsetting penalties.
44:46As Wentz takes off.
44:48Stills.
44:50That is close.
44:51Looks like he's marked him.
44:52A bit short.
44:53I'd be shocked if Kevin O'Connor goes for it.
45:02Backed up.
45:04Yeah.
45:05Here comes the punny team.
45:07Shots off Ryan Wright.
45:11I didn't know Carson Wentz had an enemy.
45:13A nice little spin move.
45:23There's a downfield.
45:34Larva Dane backpedaling.
45:35Takes it out to 23.
45:37Lucky out of South Carolina.
45:42Four-yard return.
45:43Out to the 27.
45:44Now this from Wells Fargo.
45:48Tied at seven.
45:49Just over six minutes remaining in the second quarter.
45:53And there's Miles Garrett.
45:55Frustrated at himself.
45:56Jumping offside.
45:59Sets the standard for that defensive front.
46:01Plays the most slack snaps of the defensive line.
46:05You know he wants to beat by a sample.
46:08You gotta go.
46:08From the 26.
46:11You'll get it into the hands of Alkine Corley.
46:17Receiver brought up from the practice squad this week.
46:19Injuries suffered by Cedric Tillman.
46:22DeAndre Carter.
46:23So Corley and Larva Dane now on the active roster for Kevin Stefanski.
46:28And Corley gained 11.
46:35It's a nice balance by the Cleveland Browns.
46:38It's exactly what Kevin Stefanski told us he wanted.
46:41It's a nice balance with the rookie quarterback at the helm.
46:50Coming into this game over the first four with Joe Flacco.
46:54They've passed the ball 65% of the time.
46:57That's the highest in the NFL.
46:58But much different story here today.
47:01Yeah.
47:01Protecting the quarterback as you should.
47:03Right.
47:03Joe Flacco, 18-year veteran.
47:05You can put more on his plate.
47:07It's not that Dylan doesn't know the offense.
47:09It's that it's about processing.
47:11When you're in the game, it's easy in practice.
47:13You know, the defense's scout team, they're supposed to let the guys catch the football.
47:16No one's going to touch you.
47:18Here, bullets are live.
47:19You've got to make sure you can process and don't put the ball in harm's way.
47:22So Kevin Stefanski helping Dylan Gabriel out with that process.
47:26Back at the 34-yard line.
47:36Yeah, this is a nice job.
47:37Tyron Ingram-Dawkins.
47:39He's going to be coming from over here.
47:41And what you're going to see is all the movement.
47:43You see the movement from that defensive line.
47:45It confuses the offensive line.
47:47He actually comes.
