00:00I wanted to ask you about recent comments made by the president regarding
00:07Tylenol and its impacts on autism.
00:12It's nearly impossible to just come to a conclusion that the cause of
00:17autism by Tylenol, you can't just study for six months and say
00:22end of story for the cause of autism. Besides, I even met some of the moms
00:28that never took Tylenol before their autistic child was born, and they
00:34said that everything's false. It actually came from genetics. My sister and I,
00:40we inherited the autism DNA from my dad. So then again, it comes from
00:46genetics. Okay, so then when you see the president talking about it in a way that
00:52you don't think is like, you know, scientific or whatever, is that upset?
00:57They think they're scientists, but they're not at all. They just don't know.
01:01They just come up with anything out of their, well, you know, from their behind.
01:04Jeez, like what the heck?
01:07Totally. You seem like it could be a politician.
01:10Well, that could be a possibility. I would appreciate that offer.
01:15Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, when I heard those comments, I was like, you know, I know
01:19autistic people and kids, and also I know they're mothers, and it's almost like it's
01:26mother blaming that, you know, you took something during your pregnancy and now
01:31it's your fault that, you know, they say it's a bad thing, you know? So all around I
01:36was like, just offended on behalf of the autistic people I know.
01:38Yeah, it's very stigmatizing to hear from Trump and RFK Jr. some statements
01:43about autism that's stating that autism is a disease. It's, metaphorically, it's
01:48like saying autism is a disease without saying it. Well, then again, autism is not
01:54a disease. It's just a part of who we are. And the advice I would say to people on
01:59the autism spectrum is to stay strong, accept yourself for who you are, don't
02:03listen to any negativity, any stigmas, and fight for your rights.
02:09What's your, what was your, what's your message to Trump on the issue and the link
02:12between autism and Tylenol? If there is one, it seems like there's not.
02:17Trump, I can't, I have to censor that. Sorry. Trump is protecting his country with
02:23his big beautiful bill to trade Medicaid for Homeland Security. Well, I've got a
02:30message for him.
02:32Oh, no.
02:33Oh, no.
