00:00Welcome back to TMZ Live.
00:02There is ongoing fallout for the son of Rampage Jackson.
00:06Who is under investigation by the LAPD for almost killing a man in the ring.
00:10Right, and that investigation is still going on.
00:12But professionally, there are already consequences that he is suffering from this brutal beatdown
00:20during a professional wrestling match last weekend here in the L.A. area
00:26where he just snapped and no one really understands why.
00:32Well, there was beef. There was beef before because...
00:35But even that doesn't add up.
00:37Well, nothing justifies it, but he seemed pissed off at the guy
00:41because the guy hit him over the head with a cup, which was part of an act.
00:46And this guy then took it personally.
00:48Almost killed that wrestler. Almost killed him.
00:51Psycho Stu.
00:52Psycho Stu.
00:53So Raja is now under criminal investigation.
00:56And hopefully he will be charged for that.
00:59But the fact that it got a lot of publicity seems to be why his name popped up on another wrestling promotion.
01:08But TMZ Sports has done a little digging into this.
01:12And it seems like someone just wanted to profit off of this controversy.
01:19But it actually turned out that even if they were going to use him in a weird way.
01:26Right, right. So two parts to it.
01:28So this danger wrestling promotion, that very small kind of indie wrestling promotion,
01:33they post that we've signed Raja, buy tickets, he's going to wrestle at one of our events.
01:38And people are losing their minds then.
01:39Like, what? How's this guy going to perform?
01:42Well, why would they let him?
01:43Why would they let him?
01:44Turns out they didn't.
01:45It was just a publicity stunt.
01:47A publicity stunt by the organization.
01:49By the organization.
01:51So then Lucas talks to the venue.
01:53And the venue says, no, he's not booked.
01:56And by the way, he's not allowed.
01:58So he's not...
01:59What do they mean by he's not allowed?
02:01He's not welcome.
02:02So this is how it all played out.
02:04They posted this flyer right here.
02:06And so I called the venue that's listed underneath the flyer saying,
02:09hey, are you aware of what's going on here?
02:11I would just like a statement and just see where you stand on all of this.
02:15Because you told them about what happened with Raja.
02:17Yes, I sent the links and everything.
02:19They were completely unaware.
02:20They said, look, no, he's not going to be there.
02:22We didn't even sign him or anything.
02:24He's not going to be there.
02:24You know why the venue said no, right?
02:25I mean, there is massive liability if they would allow that to happen.
02:30And the venue is because they're on notice of what he did.
02:33This guy could be facing an attempted murder charge in a matter of days.
02:36He may be.
02:37He may be.
02:38Yeah.
02:38He may be.
02:39I think he should.
02:40I'm Marie LeBetter from Fort Smith, Arkansas.
02:42This wasn't a, quote, work gone wrong.
02:44It was a reckless assault by Raja.
02:46Psycho was just doing his job in a scripted environment.
02:49Look, there's no place for this in wrestling or combat sports.
02:52My thoughts are with Psycho and his family.
02:55And I hope he makes a full recovery.
02:56Well, he almost died.
02:58How is he right now, by the way?
02:59How is Psycho doing?
02:59Do we know?
03:00He is.
03:01Yeah.
03:01Steve talked to the guy who actually rescued him, one of the wrestlers.
03:05He's in the hospital still.
03:06Still?
03:07Still in the hospital, but he's conscious and he's communicating.
03:09He's got family, friends visiting him.
03:11So I think he's on the road to recovery, but still hospitalized.
03:14After how many days?
03:15It's Saturday night.
03:15It's a week almost.
