00:00to form here for the third and final bennett's british superbike race of the weekend first two

00:06of course one in some style by bradley ray the challenge is on now for these guys to try and

00:11stop him shane burn and james hayden have been scratching their heads wondering how any of them

00:15might do that we saw kyle riding race to do what i mean we sort of postulated beforehand was the

00:21only option for him really james which was to throw it up the inside and try to cause some kind

00:26of disruption yeah um so yeah he i mean listen he had a go it was a wasn't quite exactly what we had

00:33in mind here it is he's in really hot can't get it stopped and uh actually loses a couple of places

00:38but we are listen we the the intent was there wasn't it but it's just let's be honest it's kind

00:44of it just looks like brad's just got too much in hand here so i think really it's going to be

00:50the interesting thing the only one actually i wonder now is whether rory um skinner could have

00:55played some changes you know he looked probably the most comfortable in some ways in that last

00:58race uh yeah rory had a good run in race too took p2 ahead of kyle in the end check it was a good

01:05little battle between the two of them yeah doesn't he look fantastic on that bike as well um you see

01:09brad ray there leading rory's just got up the inside of kyle right there second bike in your shot

01:13uh lots of people blowing the uh blowing the agostini up in there because the tailwind there was

01:19really really strong and there at the end of the straight you know the guys are getting blown

01:22literally into the thing so missing the braking marker a tiny bit but you know when rory went to

01:26moto two he looked like the perfect fit for a moto two bike he looked like a little gp rider didn't

01:30he but he's got back on this gp uh on this ducati sorry here in bsb and it just fits him like a glove

01:35and yeah i think what we have to take into into account is the fact that the team have only switched

01:39this year you know this is their third race meeting on that bike rory's already second uh had a second

01:44this morning so um yeah fantastic performance really yeah and ducati is notoriously not always the

01:50easiest bikes to get to know as as a team you know mechanically yeah um so listen they're all

01:55doing a really good job and um you know they've got to keep building keep building obviously we

01:59know it's not killed next as well which is going to be great because he flies around there and

02:03obviously all the home supports it's all building very nicely question is what could anyone do here

02:07and at the moment it it's a big big ask but i still think you know the intent of trying to get

02:13out there they just don't want if brad's led for the light the first two laps he's gone so he's

02:18got to try to stop that it's been sweltering hot so far this weekend it's not this afternoon

02:22sharing the clouds have come over the breeze is up as well track conditions will be a lot cooler

02:26could that influence things um the only thing that's going to do i think is make the pace just

02:30a little bit faster that the track temperature's been so high this weekend obviously the the lap times

02:34have been down a tiny bit um it's been about managing that but the most tricky thing for all of

02:38them for all of the classes today actually has been this breeze that we've got you know it's quite gusty

02:41and uh the wind's quite strong so they've all got that to contend with but it's the same for

02:45everybody well somebody's got to come up with a plan let's see if any of them have got one uh with

02:50james i've got a plan the plan is first to speak to this man on the second this is uh charlie nesby

02:56one of the younger riders in uh bsb man spoke to you for a while charlie uh going well just a little

03:03bit below the radar that's fine game finishes and having some good racing especially with an old bit

03:08max cook over there yeah no it was great fun banging bars with max to be fair in the in the

03:12sprint race but yeah yeah i think we're just going about our time and just racking up some points and

03:18just feeling comfortable with it you know because obviously donnington wasn't great for us

03:22so yeah i think it's just all about finishing now good lad good luck cheers thank you right we ain't got

03:28that long of a gridwalk but so what i want to do so charlie's 24 right at the other end of the age

03:34spectrum is leon haslam he's 44 i think 42 we oh he's knocking a few he's about 44 but get this

03:41so look he's dad dad's there ron nobody actually knows how old ron is but he looks about 45 and he's

03:48a lot older than that ron's multiple british champion going back years always here we love ron

03:52happy birthday ron thank you very much and then we're going to go across here right the serious

03:57stuff we're going to speak with tommy because he's on his bike and we missed him last time because i

04:01think he'd nipped off for a comfort break tommy it's turning around for you and we're all pleased

04:07to see it matey yeah cheers we're uh honestly uh it's been a frustrating first two rounds for definite

04:13uh i'm no different rider i'm no different person but the the tire had a bigger bigger effect on us

04:20and i think we all anticipated so it took some work uh slowly getting there but still we still got

04:25if i'm honest a bit of a chunk to find still are you starting to enjoy it a little bit race with

04:30people be competitive yeah obviously it makes life easier for sure it makes me happier so let's see

04:35what we can do now good luck tommy cheers thank you yeah really frustrating when your job and your

04:39whole life is racing and you're not going as well at the racing as you think you should and that's

04:44coming off a british champion from a couple of years ago so let's uh let's get across now so

04:50front row here we go where they are there yeah i lost you last time she's sticking to me like glue

04:56isn't you uh right uh third on the grid this is kyle we spoke to you every single race because you've

05:01been on the front row uh what are your aim to the meeting it's kind of uh kind of all right but

05:07yeah it's um could have been another second there yeah uh again it a good go i know tommy

05:13tommy's been really good there last couple of years into the last corner so i thought if i don't

05:17try to pass rory into there tommy's gonna pass me and i could come fourth so again i've gone out

05:21with rory and i come fourth anyway so i might as well have to start there yeah but that's a really

05:24difficult move around the outside of corms and then but it always costs you up the straight if you

05:28don't get it dead right yeah i just looking back here i could i could have sat there but tommy was

05:34definitely going to pass me and i was never going to pass rory to the line on on that bike so

05:38again it a go uh just just come short a couple of thousand short of the podium but i'm not too mad

05:43because i left it all out there gave it a good go and uh unfortunately come fourth but yeah that

05:46won't happen again you've got to have a go good luck cheers mate right yeah you've got to have a go

05:51we've seen that in a few races right one and a half minutes so quick word with uh rory rory another

05:57rider like tommy that's turning his season around gradually big work for the team new bike the team

06:02new bike ferrari looks like you're getting red around it now starting to definitely yes definitely

06:07starting to understand a bit more now jamie it's uh feeling more homely to me and uh yeah just started

06:12to feel a bit more confident on it starting to understand what i can do with it what i can't do

06:15with it and uh yeah just working away with it is it different is it looks like it's going to be

06:20different to ride than anything else you've ever ridden totally i'm riding so different to my style

06:25so so much different to what it was 12 months ago but yeah that's how it goes sometimes sometimes

06:29i've got to change to fit the bike and yeah it's certainly starting to work now we're starting to

06:33get better results with it and it's uh yeah it's all heading in the right direction hello rory cheers

06:37thank you right just got just about half a minute so just worked out pretty well that uh again another

06:44rider we spoke to every single race this weekend because he's been uh well basically untouchable all

06:50weekend if if you did have a plan i don't know if you did but um it's worked on it yes uh it's been going

06:58well this weekend um we may be getting a bit closer and closer every race but um yeah just

07:05try and do what i've been doing um and see but this motorcycle racing you never know good luck cheers

07:11mate yeah brad's been imperious this weekend i don't think any well i think it's gonna be hard for

07:15anybody getting near to him a little bit cooler the breeze is the main thing like shaky said they're

07:20really feeling that gotta be good yeah well the self-styled milky bar kid certainly didn't melt

07:27in the heat here at snetterton earlier on he's just got to keep it sweet for the remainder of the day

07:32and he can make it a back-to-back treble bsb race 3 is live after the break

08:02it's time for the final race of the weekend at snetterton it has

08:32has been a glorious weekend of weather but it is just starting to cool down a bit

08:37there's a breeze in the air but they're still the same man that they're looking to chase down

08:42brad ray has been invincible of late can anyone reel him in the odds and the bookies say no

08:50he leads the championship by 28 points to kyle ryde with leon haslam only six behind kyle in third glenn

08:56erwin of course absent injured yesterday we send him our best wishes and hopefully he's back soon

09:01rory skinner two podiums already this season he's fifth in the championship ahead of tommy bridewell

09:07who's looking somewhere near back to his best this is how they line up in the final race of the weekend

09:13looking for the double treble is brad ray and since the new three race format has come into this

09:18championship that has never been done before ray and skinner there on that front row brideswell haslam and

09:24and nesbitt of course kyle ryde also on that front row as well cook brooks idden on row three is this

09:30just merely a case of who else will be on the podium james whitton i think it is exactly that steve yeah

09:39i don't think anybody's gonna get near oh i mean all things been as normal you never know it's bike

09:44racing anything can happen conditions are challenging um but i don't think it's anything that brad ray can come

09:50with he's won six from the opening seven has brad ray i said earlier on the last time that happened

09:54was you in 1993. if he makes it seven from the opening eight the last time that happened

10:00the same year it was you 1993. hey get this so we only have two races a weekend

10:05ah i knew that one was gonna get rolled then again it was easier then so i'm not i'm not saying anything

10:11at the moment you still hold on to that record but brad ray has been spectacular he would

10:16of course tear up some records here no double treble done before at bsb uh he's on a roll of

10:22five from five at snetterton you know i love about him he doesn't he doesn't to his own own uh like he

10:28could do no no no ego at all and he still gets nervous he still sits on the grid and he's nervous

10:34and i think that's a really good sign this uh steve plater looking on hoping for always going to do the

10:39business i think they've already had a good weekend they are and um colombie um getting something of

10:45his phone back and shaky just telling everyone all about his lap record here no doubt anybody will

10:51listen here he is then on the raceway's yamaha number 28 bradley ray then lining up on pole the

10:57usual pre-start ritual for toby bridewell number 46 just behind him on the honda it's been a good

11:02weekend so far for him skinner likewise you can see it's blustery it's still windy unlike this morning

11:08this is a 16 lap race coming up here at snetterton for round three of 2025

11:16lights out and once again nails the start does bradley ray and this is key for him absolutely

11:22when he's got this pace you don't want to let him get a start like that that was a perfect launch

11:25third one of the weekend for him rory skinner second third for kyle ride tommy bridewell fourth place

11:30pretty clean for all going through turn one no one fancies a late lunge on bradley into turn two this

11:37time now i think cal got sucked in that last time like you said

11:43into palma turn three and now up towards turn four agostini and this is where from here on in that

11:52bradley ray is just able to hit his markers and no one can get close i don't think anyone's going to

11:56do anything too silly around agostini we go who's behind tommy bridewell it's leon haslam and danny

12:02kent number 52 looking to try and wrestle himself back into some form yeah struggled for the first

12:09part of the season that's done it a bit wide on exit there from fraser rogers at the back of the group

12:14there still just trying to get used to setups number seven davy todd on the 810 racing bmw

12:20who's brolly man this weekend is his teammate and co-owner peter hickman there you go yeah not

12:25but able to ride peter after knocking himself about the tt but we're glad to see him here

12:32all right trying to find a way through on that ducati the cheshire moldings ducati of

12:38rory skinner yes impressive what the cheshire molding boys have done they've run a couple of

12:43different uh makes a bike they've never run a ducati uh they're running two this year one in super

12:47sport and one in superbike and they're a very different bike like i've said in terms of setup

12:52no data going in there with uh only borrowed data so that's uh difficult for a team so around morris for

12:59the first time and onto the start finish straight move there from fraser rogers that looks a bit tight

13:03on john mcphee but he's forced his way through on the tag honda never been shy no never over the line

13:10we go it's from in chattering a bit there for kyle right yeah he's got his it's been resurfaced

13:17recently it's lovely surface really gripping for the most bad but it is a little bit rippling going

13:22in there as kyle slides up the inside nice yeah really nice well there

13:28the two h-e-n steel stock kawasaki so car ride then moves up into second place haslam and danny kent

13:38are well placed in this one fifth and sixth a couple of riders in the background just kicking up that

13:43grass and dust from the side there's not been a lot of rain around these parts of late so it is quite

13:49dry and brown in the grass here and there is danny kent in sixth a good start for danny yep

13:56considering the start to the season he's had and that is a surprise based on what we saw at the

14:03end of last year and yeah like i said he had really good face the end of last year got his first bsb win

14:08and a couple of times when he didn't win or he wasn't the foot he had the fastest lap he was on the face

14:14completely most of last year don't discount josh brooks from uh a sneaky shout at a solid top five and

14:21maybe even better he goes on strong at the end of races but he's off to a good start the number 25.

14:26yep we got a good shot of uh stone stacy on the bathams bmw uh working as hard as ever we've seen

14:34all over the place this weekend certainly trying he said he wanted solid top tens this weekend he's

14:39had 10th in both of the races so far yeah this is that speed tommy was alluding to earlier around

14:44corum that he seems to have on everyone else well that was ambitious it was ambitious and he

14:49he was looking to back out of that to be honest and i think it cost them both a little bit of

14:53time yeah he's lost momentum certainly him through goes leon hasland through goes danny kent but he

14:58might have that inside line though to try and take that place back from danny kent so

15:04yeah did you see being on a little bit wider line danny kent got a a real lot of chatter there and had to

15:10just sit the bike up a little bit so again and we've seen that happen quite a bit so far this weekend

15:17riders tried to make that move down into murray's and ultimately it's actually cost them more than

15:21what they were going for yeah the outside line of columns which is where we are now he's got good

15:25pace there that puts you on the inside into murray's but you're too tight on the inside and actually

15:30there was nearly contact and he had to back out of it and lost all his momentum onto the start and

15:34finish 46.6 already from bradley ray out front astonishing pace that he has had all weekend it's a

15:42lovely place to be as a rider when all you've got to do in each subsequent race is the same as you've

15:48been doing new tires on off you go you don't have to do anything silly and you know james that doesn't

15:54happen a lot in your racing career really doesn't happen a lot honestly it does for some people but

15:58but for most no decent crowding as you would expect with the weather good here in norfolk at the

16:05moment and the races will be coming thick and fast after this yeah and you get a good crowd here as

16:10well typically quite knowledgeable and they don't go to many other places because we're quite what are

16:16we we're not isolated but it's it's way out from it's the only opportunity if you live local to get

16:21to a bsp without traveling a lot i can promise you it's quite a trek to get everyone you have to do it

16:28yeah this is haslam who's looking in a better position in this third race at the start of it

16:34anyway he's had to do a lot of work throughout this weekend although typically on has them when you

16:39actually look at his results he's not been any lower than sticks at any stage so far this year

16:43and there might be something uh in line here he squabbling for a podium on the motor rapido to

16:49catty yeah 42 years old but uh still not afraid to put a shift in is he see that boot smoking again

16:56there from brad ray i wish he'd stopped that i keep thinking smoking on the bike

17:09bridewell then the weekend let's say he was hoping for it's a step in the right direction absolutely yeah

17:15into agostini corner he's just up ahead of danny kent who looks like he's running a bit wide

17:25on the mccams yamaha haslam now itching closer to rory skinner who's in third place

17:32car ride seems to have found something from the earlier race as well he's in second spot he's just

17:37broken away from the two ducati's behind it there you can see on the left of your screen the various

17:49parties supporting their riders respective teams yeah steve rogers and the raceways team top left

17:54underneath that alan gardner omg boss steve plater and then uh rocket ron birthday boy rocket ron

18:03oh 60 today oh many happy returns oh he's about 75 we don't know how old i'll be kind of easy birthday

18:11today i don't know how old he is but he's sat he's found this fountain of youth because he's certainly

18:15don't look in there all right quorum curve on this fourth lap skinner number 11 just ahead of haslam

18:23and tommy bridewell goes through an error there from has absolutely and uh there to sweep it up quickly

18:30was tommy bridewell so bridewell now up into fourth place i don't quite know what happened

18:35there maybe mr gear i know that uh bradwell did really really well because normally when somebody

18:40has a big issue then really slows in front of you it costs you more time than them because they get

18:44going again and you're you're still fumbling trying to not sort of run into the same accident you

18:49know a few riders that are further back in this race than they would hope to be based on the weekend

18:55so far the two kawasaki's have cooking it in the eighth and ninth and charlie nesbitt uh just outside

19:00that top ten at present let's have another look at this you'd have to think got it out of gear

19:11yeah ron obviously knows what it is meanwhile out front we've not seen too much of him because he's

19:18been resplendent although i just marginally quicker than brad ray on that last lap was kyle

19:23riding second on the nitrous competitions rmg yamaha yeah but you're getting up towards two seconds uh

19:30brad will be looking at his board on the start and finish he'll know exactly what he needs to do and

19:35not only that he'll be able to do it if he needs to do

19:36let's put nesbitt on the gas there 86 sliding it onto the back so you you've got to be keen

19:47and you've got to be accurate getting out onto that back straight because it makes a difference most of

19:52the way down uh and that was him just lighting up a little bit it's a huge group of hondas actually

20:00uh all together they're starting with lee jackson there's a bit behind him and then rogers and

20:04the air with mcconnell look fee hedger vanser kelris in 80 all of them from 11th to 18th on honda

20:12machines as this bit goes through on jackson yeah i'm just thinking that should work because he got

20:17just about leveled with jackson thereby jackson wasn't gonna cut across the front of him not

20:22knowing he was there should be pretty equal those bikes same spec

20:26whilst kyle ride hasn't got anything for brad ray at the moment because as you rightly mentioned brad

20:35can kind of manage it from here on in with a two second lead a 47-2 from kyle ride they've obviously

20:42found something you want this afternoon's race yeah because that time he's dragging him away from

20:47everybody else there he is the reigning champion

20:54would have been gutted that that second place went begging earlier on the lunch on rory skinner

21:00ultimately meant that he had to take fourth because generally speaking he has been the only rider that's

21:06been getting close to brad yeah he is quite an honest lad he's kyle and he said well i i really knew

21:13i didn't have anything for brad i had to have a go he said i looked a bit scrappy at the beginning of

21:19race two of the weekend just because i thought i had to try and get in front of him and upset his

21:23rhythm but he knew it wasn't going to work he said that said when you actually look back at kyle

21:29ride's results at snetterton it's been one of his best weekends here yeah and he's got to take something

21:33from that yeah the intervals there and the comparisons between danny kent from the mccams

21:40yamaha number 52 and number 25 the dow racing honda josh brooks brooks at this stage of the race

21:48starts to get stronger he likes to build into all sorts of races and the urban has gone down yes it is

21:56yeah bike still running you can see the back wheel going around he's trying to stop it he's trying to

22:00stall the bike and i'm not sure whether sticking your foot in it he's gonna he's gonna do that

22:08yeah he doesn't want the bike running on his side what tends to happen is that the engine picks

22:14air up instead of oil and it'll end up wrecking a simple and not very damaging crash like that can

22:19wreck the engine but actually i'm not sure sticking your foot in the back wheel no it's a really good

22:25idea there's a couple of versions of don't try this at home yeah they've just unfolded there let's

22:31have a look here uh josh brooks then and he was getting closer to danny kent and has made his move

22:37into richie's corner on the dow racing honda brooks just put in his personal best lap of the race like

22:43you said a slow burner another 46.9 though for brad ray and you know for brad this is a lovely lovely

22:51place to be you're kind of controlling it you can actually enjoy your riding when it's like that

22:56and you've got this much in that but like you said this happens really rarely in a career and it can

23:02unravel so quickly so you just make the mocha most of it correct yeah max cook number 30 ahead of his

23:10teammate christian hidden lockton now has had a fairly decent weekend his best of the season so far a

23:16fifth and a sixth and uh lord station there number 79 uh that's still that's the bike of andy er

23:23when the marshall's keeping out the way no overtaking under yellow flags uh so you've got a sort of

23:28hold station you want to go quick but you can't actually pass anybody obviously the the danger is

23:34everybody else crashes there the marshals have to get out the way they've got whistles when the

23:38packs come in uh somebody's watching the whole time the whistle marshals that are trying to shift

23:42back and get out of the way because you don't want scything by a sliding bank should somebody else

23:46crash yeah that bike was still running as well so the marshals have still got a job on here yeah

23:51to try and get that clear before the leaders come around again we start lap eight of 16

24:03and you're looking here at the battle for third the final place on the podium rory skinner at the moment

24:08looking to take that really unlucky yesterday not to take at least the fourth spot yeah that would

24:16have just been a really good weekend for him then i mean the good weekend for me is the fact they've

24:20been competitive and look good i don't think rory would have been too concerned about the the breakdown

24:26it's a simple thing it didn't cost him anything else except that race itself and i think you'd swap that

24:33than a finish of eight to ninth you know what i mean he was running strong yeah not often in his career

24:38because of bad luck that he's been able to string a couple of race weekends together with consecutive

24:42podiums so this is a real sort of breakthrough moment really feels like it doesn't it yeah for

24:46for rory and he deserves it he really does absolutely such a nice kid just loves his motorcycles

24:53they all do you know they all they all love bikes otherwise you won't be here would you

24:57this isn't a job you choose unless you have you've been on bikes most of your life

25:04just coming up to brundle and nelson now formerly known as the s's and they've done well there they

25:10have to finally get that bike cleared did you see that andy was still helping of course he's still there

25:18he's a strong lad is andy as well i recall the crash for glenn at the final round last year and he ran over

25:23and like some sort of superhero lifted a ducati up like it was like he's a value and that's a 200

25:30best best part 200 kilo here comes tommy as a medic stick this time yes he has has it cost him time yes

25:36probably a little bit what can rory do now down this now that's a good move from from tommy that yeah

25:42he's executed that well but he's got two powerful ducati's up alongside him and leon has them

25:46it's going for two and one yeah into richie's it's a double apex right-hander this might still work out for

25:51him brilliant stuff there firstly a good move from tommy and then a really brave and great move

25:57from leon haslam as well tommy bridewell oh he was he was lucky that rory was a little bit unsighted

26:04and had to just lift up to miss the back of haslam there good little battle this it is and leon haslam

26:11is now in a podium position on his moto rapido ducati couple of really good experience well

26:18mechanics moves there from tommy bridewell and then leon haslam yeah even though tommy did

26:25get out the chicane really well it's definitely cost him here this is bold because he's slightly

26:31offline as well i thought like you he wasn't going to make that second apex he did

26:35and an opportunist move from tommy

26:45and this is what's just happened a moment ago tommy back through on leon haslam that was actually

26:52very clean onto the back straight and that power of the ducati comes back through leon haslam

26:58they love a move or two don't they both leon and tommy this is a good scrap

27:04but if it continues you know who they might invite oh i was about to say they might invite josh

27:09books a bit in the background there he just made a mistake and he's got danny kent and max cook now with

27:13yeah exactly yeah he's he's sucked himself back in that groove again fast around current curve for

27:20tommy bridewell on that red and blue honda number 46 left onto the home straight bradley ray's just

27:26flown past our commentary box here he's got 2.8 seconds on kyle ryde this is the battle for third

27:31haslam has it at the moment from tommy bridewell who's got that inside line and through comes rory

27:36skinner as well on tommy will he hold his line this time he will bridewell will surely though look to

27:42try and repay the favor down into wilson corner and does but it's not quite close enough no

27:50nice battle yes and rory skinner at this stage you've got to say he's learning heaps look at the

27:55experienced riders he's around serial winners in british super bikes yeah not only that just getting

28:01racing you know getting a bit punchy with people and picking your line and running offline

28:06through agostini the background josh brooks has cleared himself of the rest of the pack there in

28:18sixth ahead of cook and kent

28:25big bellowing v4 decatted

28:27and the more traditional honda across the train fall for that honda's a quick bike though

28:34you would expect the decatui as rory gets it a bit squirrely coming onto the back straight like i said

28:40you you're really keen to get the the power on there and get it driving to see it all lose out

28:45down the straight but the downside of that is sometimes you get it sliding you lose more time

28:48than you're trying to get in yeah you can sort of see there the honda's got enough poke to kind of get in

28:52the slipstream and pull a little but not quite pull up alongside i think you'd expect that a kv4

28:57to have a little bit of lift out the corners a little bit more grunt but the honda's a lot of

29:01top end once again it's into sort of third four fifteen and high reps look at this here there is

29:07tommy he's not going to have a look here is he again yes he is and is this time you're going to

29:11make it stick that was lovely again from tommy bridewell on the approach to mary's and he's not

29:16lost too much time but again look at the punch from that decati is he now going to have the speed on

29:21tommy to go through into turn one no he isn't because because tommy had a little bit of a slipstream

29:26from leon haslam at the same time

29:35this is third place leon haslam number 91 looking for his second third podium of the season of course

29:43victorious at alton park at the opening round of the championship bridewell looking to make it

29:48three podiums in a row having got podiumless in the opening five yeah and just been lost for the

29:55first couple of meetings whatever happens now i am sure honda and especially tommy bridewell will take

30:02a lot away from this maintenance net and the good thing is as well is that you know he'll be competitive

30:07at not kill and it will just start to come back to him a bit yeah you don't get two more different

30:12circuits than uh snetterton 300 or knock hill this is more continental in its feel the infield was

30:19designed in the last few years therefore it's constant radius uh nice camber the rest of the

30:25circuit is the old part it's a little bit flatter but it is it has more of a continental feel big

30:29lots of runoff uh knock hill quite the opposite scratchy kind of i don't mean this in a bad way it's

30:35lovely great place to race i always love knock hill but it's different kind of circuits it'll suit a

30:40different ride a different bike yeah well let's look no further rory skinner with this sort of

30:44form he will be really looking forward to that i think yeah we're on lap 11 of 16 if you're just

30:50tuning in brad ray at the moment managing a two and a half second lead to kyle rives this is the

30:55battle for third place which has been really raging on and continues to as bridewell goes through on

31:01has them again down into murray's and again on the cut back here now getting into the slipstream number

31:0691 leon has them here pull up alongside tommy bridewell he's got the inside line on the approach

31:11to richie's corner yeah but the important thing there is did you see that tommy bridewell was able

31:16to hold that lead just over the last lap do or die move it would work

31:25come on john i'll tell you what if he doesn't get another portion of his work for it i was about to

31:34say rory skinner's up against two riders here where he just won't ever let go no no won't drop the ball no

31:45in the background josh brooks three tenths quicker than the trio here ahead of him but i think it's just

31:50just going to run out of time although if they continue to take these lumps out of each other

31:54then you never know just kind of say if they keep holding each other up then he has got a chance i

31:59think if they settle down and and stop this i think he's not going to check it catch

32:07start building onto the back straight there is bradley ray on the raceways yamaha who's been

32:11resplendent car ride in these last couple of laps has just been marginally quicker but the gap's still

32:16above two seconds i mean if it was under a second we'd get i think so i think we'd talk about it

32:21more yeah and i always used to think anything sort of one and a half seconds and above especially two

32:26seconds or above that you've got time to manage it and do something about it should somebody come

32:31through and start catching you josh brooks here in sixth place has brought a party along with him

32:36he has but not about me for josh now he's steadily going about his business it's all about building not

32:42just for him but for the team it's new bike for him new bike for the team down racing trying to get

32:47themselves uh into contention you've got to top your cap to to dow racing uh and especially team leader

32:56so my um because she's not shy of putting the money in yeah her and clarissa have done a tremendous job

33:01exactly yeah i agree yep so very briefly there just looking at the times from brooks a 48.2 again just

33:10slightly quicker than skinner a bit further up the road this is the battle that rages on between

33:15haslam tommy prideswell and rory skinner one of these three is thinking will be on the podium

33:23this sounds an obvious thing but one of the good things about being involved in a race like this is

33:27the race flies by yeah it just doesn't you let you think christ we haven't got that many laps left and

33:32when you're on your own in no man's land especially if somebody's catching it takes a long time

33:37yeah for brad and for even kyle actually in a bit of a lonely second this will have felt like quite a

33:41long race exactly yeah yeah yeah but uh these guys will have been enjoying themselves that's for sure

33:50if not enjoying themselves at least occupy

33:53tommy bridewell that was inventive and it was great it was good on it you've not seen too many of

34:00them over the course of the weekend that's for sure tommy bridewell then going through only on

34:04haslam haslam haslam here looking to return the favor he's got the inside line on the approach to

34:08brundle and will not go through because tommy closes the door going gonna yield it's a little

34:14bit wide on the left but it doesn't matter that puts him on the inside for the right they'll have

34:18lost a few tenths of a second to brooks and co in the background yeah because this is costing them all

34:22time i'm impressed with tommy that even though it's not part of a master plan he still wants to have a

34:28to have a bit of a nip anywhere again

34:33ryan corum curb the fans here who might not have seen much of a race for

34:36the win are certainly being treated to a fantastic battle for the podium

34:42over the line the gap between ray and ride 1.7 seconds i will keep an eye on it but for now that's

34:49still more than manageable for ray this is the scrap for now we keep our eyes on

34:53haslam through on tommy bridewell and again brooks on that last lap a good chunk quicker than the

35:02rest and that's a mistake again from leon haslam so tommy bridewell goes through and all the time

35:07these are another tenth or two going the way of brooks in sixth correct yeah now a mistake from tommy

35:14and again they're losing tenths every time this happens the trouble is james not only are they scrapping

35:19but they're losing grip aren't they at this late stage of the race so

35:27here we go

35:30down into number 91 leon haslam it's 46 tommy bridewell just behind him and then

35:40rory skinner brooks still there in sixth place hanging on

35:44they've got to be careful these boys they have if they keep knocking lumps off each other

35:53feels like they might just run out of time brooks and co i think so yeah because there's

35:56with three laps to go but anything's possible here because there's going to be some desperate

36:00lunges about to be lined up there already have been the man who sat there for the last few laps

36:04is rory skinner and it does look to have a little bit of face i wonder if he's got some up his sleeve

36:08some eye there just on the left keeping an eye on uh uh rider the australian two-time british super

36:16fight champion josh brooks and again here comes tommy lining up his favorite move around corum

36:22oh he's away about this time and actually did you see leon quite defensive yeah and he's got the he's

36:28got the kind of luxury a bit to do that as as leon because his bike just has a little bit of lift out

36:33that corner of the honda i think

36:38pushing on the front there for leon haslam through turn one which he's calling a double apex right

36:43hander will he have a look down into wilson no not for now this is the penultimate lap of the race

36:55meanwhile you lead back to just below two seconds this is uh everything perfectly in hand for brad ray

37:00leader yeah went on course for the first ever uh double treble

37:08still brooks dragging danny kent and max cook with him should this go wrong up ahead of him

37:20motor rapido to katty rider leon haslam these are valuable points for haslam as well remember he's

37:25third in the championship yeah you'd have to say through consistency more than anything else but

37:36they build now around oggies and williams onto the bentley straight tommy not close enough to have a

37:42look here down into brundle but he might just try and line up his favorite move from the bomb hole

37:50onwards all the way around cora let's watch then from here it's actually close enough to have a go

37:55at this this lap through the dip at the bomb hole and then starts building and this is where he's

38:02seemingly had more speed than most this weekend

38:07doesn't look like he's gonna make the move though no or is he waiting is he waiting yeah so then he can't

38:14reply he's already done a just rehearsal and as you rightly said earlier he knows he can get to the line if

38:17he pulls it off yeah we're about to find out it's the final lap of the race here at snetterton

38:24and is he going to go early no into richie's this is the fight for third i don't think tommy's got

38:30the speed down the straight to put himself in a position to practically make it through there

38:34without taking risk it's going to apply the pressure though both running nicely to wilson corner no one

38:41running wide there of course if he does leave it until the last corner it leaves leon with no chance

38:49of a real reply never it also leaves you just one go so if your man that you're trying to get past has

38:53a plan as well and changes his you know what he's doing then and all the while still another few laps of

39:01this race and brooks and those behind him would be on these guys yeah they were three times quicker last lap

39:08solid sixth at the moment for brooks but it's haslam bridewell and skinner that we have our eyes

39:14on skinner knows that tommy will have a look somewhere and will be desperate to pick up the pieces

39:19there's your leader 28 bradbury second place man keeping him honest yeah but a much better stronger

39:25ride from car ride absolutely this is where tommy needs to be right in the slipstream and he's not

39:31close enough to ever go at the end of the straight i'm sure no it's going to be all lining up for

39:35murray's now this is something right well yeah he's got one shot this and we might be seeing it from a

39:40different camera angle because i think just as they reach that final corner brad ray will be coming over

39:45the line he's now coming into the final corner himself imperious invincible we're running out of words

39:51for brad ray the first ever double treble in british superbike history he cleans up at snett ahead of

39:58car ride but who's gonna take third it is defensive from haslam down into murray's and i think he might

40:03have just done enough here to hold on to third place on the number 91 motor rapido ducati he does

40:10take turn ahead of tommy bridewell his first podium at snett of the weekend ahead of skinner and brooks

40:16who is strong in the end it is seven from the opening eight races for bradley ray

40:23and he's just in that form and he looks unstoppable at the moment can you believe this in bsp this year

40:33we have had 126 racing laps and brad ray has led 105 of them yeah yeah the way he's made it look they've got

40:42you've got to think that is if you're one of his rivals that you've got your work for the rest of

40:50the season yeah he's won all of his last six races now here at snetterton you could say

40:58snett is brad's pad good ride from kyle though absolutely second he limits the damage done to him

41:06by brad in the championship but it is going to be a 30 point difference between the two

41:11and a good weekend for rory skinner as well i think a breakthrough weekend for rory

41:19leon haslam back on the podium of course he's third and first at alton park a sixth a fifth and

41:26a fourth at donington a fourth and a fifth yesterday and now p3 he's nothing if not consistent yeah

41:31thank you steve rogers feeling the pressure a little bit not a lot of pressure though

41:40we've got a good man he only came out of retirement did did steve because he knew he was going to get

41:45the bike and more importantly brad ray yeah what a rider he has gone as well yeah it won't be like

41:54this all the way through the season snettison i think we all had a feeling because of his treble here a

41:59few years back that he was going to be perhaps the favorite he did stand out

42:04there will be opportunities for others at the places like not kill at places like trucks but you

42:10know he's going to be in the mountain beetle he is looking at the moment like some force yep

42:15mark woodage there another person who was actually thinking about walking away um from the paddock he

42:22didn't have a job in place he was going to sit back at home and do something else he did does a lot

42:26of work at home we've got a good workshop engine builder can turn the living out of bikes anyway

42:30by not doing this uh but when you get the opportunity to work with brad ray on what is

42:37essentially the best one of the best year miles on the grid well what are you going to do

42:43so let's get the results and standings up here for you then for the final race of bsp here at

42:47at snetterton bradley ray the winner 1.6 ahead of kyle ryde an improving kyle ryde leon haslam

42:53third ahead of tommy bridewell rory skinner great weekend for him fifth josh brooks a solid sixth

42:58ahead of kent and cook storm stacy ninth uh charlene has bit in tenth spot the final points went to

43:05christian idden a bit off collar in that final race fraser rogers 12th lee jackson 13th ahead of

43:10mcfee and billy mcconnell missing out on the points there vanson kelris hedger kurt todd and blaze baker

43:15so brad ray then in charge in a weekend where we're missing glenn irwin he drops down to fourth

43:23ray takes a 30 point lead into knock hill in scotland in a couple of weeks time kyle ryde

43:29second in the championship and leon haslam still there in third only eight points behind kyle ryde

43:35overall rory skinner and tommy bridewell have had great weekends their fifth and sixth overall

43:39ahead of brooks kent has dropped down to eighth idden is ninth charlene's for tenth

43:46and there were points on offer here three top tens this weekend for storm stacy

43:4911th in the championship ahead of cook mcfee jackson rogers andy irwin scott swan

43:54billy mcconnell hickman and hedger

44:03so the riders make their way into park firme we're still waiting for the race winner here he covers now

44:48after getting it on the podium for him leon you told me it's been a difficult weekend so far

44:53i mean i know you very well i know you would have enjoyed that battle you got a smile on your face

44:57you're on the podium how are you feeling yeah honestly we was off the pace all weekend we

45:01handling through our connection we just couldn't really get it sorted or dialed in and yeah we've

45:05been doing a bit of screaming and shouting and we'll come up with the goods for that last race

45:09through our connection come back to where i wanted it chassis was a lot better i think i was

45:12a second a lot faster than what i qualified on so we made some big steps and to have that amazing

45:16battle with rory and with bridewell to get a podium at the last day and it's my dad's birthday today so big

45:21one for him hey we're just hearing a debate actually how old is ron today i think he's my

45:24favorite number what 91 he's not that old cheers thank you guys and yeah big thanks to the team

45:31well done leon great job um right kyle right coming in in second place kyle what a fantastic performance

45:36you uh you kept bradley honest there gab never really got too far away and uh yeah he plugged away

45:41and have a strong second place yeah we made the bike a lot better for that last one it was just nice

45:45to put a bit of pressure on bread to be honest it feels like a win i know i know i come second but

45:49just to be able to keep up with him for 16 laps after the one lap speed is out all weekend i'm

45:53very proud of myself for that one and uh yeah hats off to all the boys they gave me a really good

45:57bike for that one and i uh well it was tough i really enjoyed it so yeah thanks for all the

46:01support everyone i've had a good weekend completely different circuit coming up obviously next time

46:04out we're at knock hill looking forward to that one yeah i mean my bike's pretty good everywhere

46:08at the minute i've been riding it for a few years and every chat we go to it's pretty solid

46:12um brad's obviously going to be fast as we all know um so yeah just got to pull my finger out like i did in

46:16that last race on friday and we should be good well done fantastic performance thank you cheers

46:25triple double um what a performance what a weekend what a season so far yeah no it's good um honestly

46:32carl kept me really honest in that race i was able to pull at the start but um the time was coming

46:37down i tried to to manage the lap times and uh was able to to respond when i needed to i think we

46:42was almost identically matching lap times i made a few small mistakes at the end um a few laps to go

46:48because i was so excited to to be what do do what i was doing and to to finish a triple but um yeah

46:54overall a very positive weekend and uh looking forward to knock hill i just mentioned to kyle

46:58actually uh knock hill completely different circuit to uh to sneston here this one a bit more european

47:03flair if you like but knock hill is his own little scratchy track how you feeling about that one yeah good

47:07knock hill has always been a good track for me i've got a win there in 22 and and two podiums so

47:12looking forward to it it's obviously going to be a lot tougher i think the the group will be tighter

47:16um and and the times will be a lot tighter so uh yeah have a couple of weeks off and then we're

47:21ahead to knock hill look forward to that well done bradley cheers mate thank you

47:26yeah what a performance from brad brad ray let's uh get the thoughts of the boss now team owner for

47:30raceways yamaha steve rogers steve i know you've you've had your eye on brad for a few years now and

47:35you finally got the opportunity to put a bike underneath him did you expect this level of

47:39performance from him oh no i mean we expected to be at the front obviously you know brad coming

47:46back from world championships you know that's another level um i knew the bike could be good

47:50the team would be good but to win what we're doing is uh i mean it's just him and it is just on another

47:56level what is it you know free in your experience you've got plenty of it you've worked with pretty

48:00much all of the top riders in bsp over the the last few years that what is it do you think

48:04that's setting brad apart at this stage of the season early days of course though oh it is yeah

48:09there's a long way to go um it's just his attitude he's just he's come he's come to prove a point you

48:14know um and he's just he thinks he's gonna win and he just does don't he so i've never known anything

48:20like it um i mean i think he's topped absolutely everything this weekend don't he so uh yeah it's

48:25just he's on it at the minute and no one's ever done back-to-back trebles in bsp before so that's

48:29another one chalked off but for your team as well this came together late obviously steve i mean you'd

48:34you've kind of folded up uh you know what 18 months ago so and no regrets now about coming

48:39back i guess no no i mean it it it was a no-brainer really wasn't it i mean um you know put brad on a

48:46yamaha we've got so much experience with the yamaha um yes and it's always good when you're winning

48:52into it long mate continue steve congrats i'll let you go and enjoy the podium

49:06must have worked very hard to uh get that bike in some sort of order again for him to be competitive

49:11didn't really see that one coming it is podium number 120 at bsp for leon and his third of the

49:19season he's third in the championship as well kyle wright of course second in the championship his 44th

49:24bsp podium but it's four in the last six so going in the right direction but the records keep on

49:30breaking for your race winner podium number 41 win number 18 and the seventh of the season in just

49:37eight races your race winner here and treble winner is brad ray i believe there'll be a special trophy

49:44awarded to brad as well because it is of course netterton the race of aces sponsored by quattro

49:50group so i'm expecting that to come up or is it going to be the national anthem i don't think they're
