The 2025 BET Awards are set to go ahead as planned on Monday evening in downtown Los Angeles despite ongoing widespread protests across Los Angeles County against immigration raids. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, a BET spokesperson said, "BET remains committed to the safety of our guests and staff. We are working closely with LAPD and monitoring the situation. 01:12demonstrations. Musician Phineas was among the residents who took to the streets on Sunday.
