00:00But Donnie already has the actual image of Saquon Barkley in the backward hurdle from a season ago,
00:07which is the exact imagery that will grace the cover of Madden 26, as we learned yesterday.
00:14And Donnie, if I do say so myself, to have it in the Kelly Greens,
00:20that's also an incredibly beautiful sight and a great decision by EA Sports.
00:26What was also really cool was that shot was recreated.
00:30Saquon Barkley did that in the promo shoot for the cover of Madden 26.
00:35After a historic season, 2005 rushing yards in his debut year with the Eagles,
00:41becoming the ninth player in NFL history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a single season.
00:48Saquon continued that on a prolific playoff run that helped guide the Eagles to their second Lombardi Trophy in franchise history.
00:55In total, regular and postseason for Barkley DRS, 2,504 yards, moving past Terrell Davis of the Broncos for the most rushing yards in an entire season
01:07in NFL history.
01:09And the reward, the cover star of Madden 26.
01:13And also, put that picture back up of Saquon Barkley, because the focus here isn't necessarily for me on Saquon Barkley.
01:19It was a great play.
01:20Love that he's on Madden.
01:21And a lot of respect.
01:22We poke fun at Giants fans.
01:23But do you see that uniform?
01:24Like, look at that uniform.
01:26I don't know if there's a better uniform.
01:28Like, and I don't mean a little bit biased in sports.
01:30Like, we talk about, like, the powder blues of the Chargers, right?
01:33I said, ooh, that's a pretty uniform.
01:34The old Miami Dolphins uniforms.
01:36Which, again, brings me to my next point.
01:37The powder blues are not the regular jersey for the Chargers, which makes my head explode.
01:42The Miami Dolphins changing their uniform for one of the most iconic, beautiful uniforms in history blows my mind.
01:48The Philadelphia Eagles, who were allowed to actually change the color of their green when Jeffrey Lurie bought the team in the mid-1990s, is astoundingly stupid at this point.
01:57He's a great owner.
01:57Maybe the best owner in professional sports history in Philadelphia.
02:01But he would have never been allowed to do that in the social media age.
02:04Like, again, I've brought this point up many times.
02:07Like, the Giants going to, like, Carolina Blue in the mid-1990s because, you know, Tish bought into the Mara family.
02:13He goes, it's a perfect trying to change that.
02:14It's unbelievable that that pristine, absolutely beautiful uniform is not worn every single Sunday afternoon for the Philadelphia Eagles.
02:24So, how about that?
02:25Credit Saquon Barkley.
02:26Love the play.
02:26Love him on Madden.
02:27But when I see that, it sort of upsets me that that jersey gets worn, like, two times a year?
02:32You've got to be kidding me.
02:33Now, though, in the current era, do you think that if it was the regular home uniform, it would lose its luster?
02:41Do you think that newer Eagles fans would still appreciate the Kelly Green as much if it was just the regular home uniform for Philadelphia?
02:49No, because if you go to the stadium and you go to a football game now, everybody wears Eagles jerseys.
02:55What's the predominant jersey they don't even wear every Sunday?
02:59It's the Kelly Green.
03:00It's been that way for decades at this point.
03:02Like, yes, Midnight Green, oh, that's all we know, and they won two Super Bowls in the Midnight Green.
03:06Yeah, I understand that.
03:07We also had 60, 70 years of football where your actual color was the fact that it was Kelly Green, and it was a beautiful, beautiful uniform.
03:14Don't even get me started on the, what, the wood mark that they use now with the Eagles, which changed from the old one.
03:19Lori's done a lot of things that have been fantastic, but for us old-school Eagles fans, he's done a lot wrong with the color combinations and whatnot here with the Philadelphia Eagles.
