00:00This is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade. It is the second generation of the Palisade,
00:04one of the most popular cars that Hyundai makes. This is a three-row, seven-passenger SUV.
00:18For 2026, Hyundai has added two new trim levels to the Palisade family. This is the XRT behind
00:25us. It is designated and designed for off-roading. It has things like tow hooks and all-terrain
00:31tires and additional off-road modes. And then there's also a hybrid. The hybrid, in my opinion,
00:37is the most exciting one, though. It has the largest engine and the most power, delivering 329
00:44horsepower, but it's a hybrid, 34 MPG. So more power and better fuel economy. Notable on the exterior
00:53are the headlights and the daytime running lights. They're actually a very technical detail. They
00:58are etched metal that is designed to glow from within. So they illuminate at night, but they
01:04actually look like they're glowing during the day, even when the lights aren't on. Then there is a
01:10flat front grille. There's different grilles depending on the trim. The hybrid has a unique
01:15grille versus the XRT versus the other editions. And the rear is a little boxier and a little more
01:22square than in the past. Both the front and rear are simplified. There are fewer exterior components
01:27and more sort of carved from the metal details in the 2026 Hyundai Palisade. The Hyundai Palisade has
01:35been really popular with families, especially those with two or three or four children who need that
01:42third row. When Hyundai first designed the Palisade, their intention was to make it easy to get in and out
01:49of and easy to move around inside. And that hasn't changed at all. So the interior dimensions are
01:54actually slightly larger for the 2026 model, but still as easy to get in and out of as ever. There
02:01are also the options of a center row bench or captain's chairs, meaning it's really comfortable
02:07for adults, but it's also easy for installing child passenger car seats. Hyundai has really evolved its
02:15interiors too. And that's something that you'll see in the 2026 Palisade from a floating center console
02:21with storage underneath to a linear multimedia screen that includes the driver display and the
02:28touchscreen. All of that giving you great function. This is the fastest processor that Hyundai has had in
02:35any of its screens. And it also includes a new function, the Hey Hyundai voice activated assistance.
02:42So all you have to do is ask for what you want. And the system is there to deliver it.
02:46The calligraphy edition is the ultimate of any Hyundai trims. It's the one with refined leather and the
02:56most beautiful details, including a UVC sterilization box, put something in the center box, say a phone or a
03:03child's pacifier, put it in that center console, tap the button and 10 seconds later, it is germ free.
03:09The Hyundai Palisade goes into production in Korea later this summer and will go on sale in the fall.
03:17Hyundai hasn't announced pricing, but looking at how they have priced current Palisade models and the
03:24very minimal price increases in the Santa Fe when that was redesigned, we expect it's not going to be
03:31a huge increase in the price, making it still affordable for everyone who wants a really stylish,
03:37modern boxy SUV.
