00:07The Canada stock market was mostly unchanged Thursday, despite investor optimism after
00:12a US court blocked President Trump's April 2 tariffs.
00:17In the US, the S&P 500 rose slightly, led by Nvidia's strong earnings, though gains
00:22were tempered by uncertainty over the court's ruling on Trump's trade policies.
00:27The TSX lost around 73 points, while the Venture lost around 5.5.
00:33On Wall Street, the Dow rose 117 points, and the NASDAQ was up 75.
00:43Looking at the highest-gaining TSX stocks of the day, we had Gold Mountain Mining up 50%,
00:49NextSource Materials rose 35%, and Aberdeen International was up 16%.
00:57But looking at the stocks, seeing the steepest drop, it was a tie for first of the worst,
01:04Extra Technologies and Apple Therapeutics, both down 25% trading at a penny, and then NXT Energy
01:11Solutions was down 20%.
