00:00Well we're here on the edge of Melbourne in the seat of Gorton, which is held by

00:04the retiring MP Brendan O'Connor. We're here for a $300 million local roads

00:09announcement from the Coalition and we're just waiting for Peter Dutton to show up.

00:12To give you a sense of how the day has gone, we actually started not too far from

00:16here at Melbourne Airport before we headed to the south-east of Melbourne.

00:21There Peter Dutton stopped off for his 12th petrol station film stop,

00:27filling up the car of the local candidate. Then he was joined by Senator James

00:32Patterson for a $750 million crime-fighting announcement. Now we're back from the

00:38Northern Mission Department for this local roads announcement before we get on the plane this afternoon to our next stop.
