00:00Did you attend Tony Braxton and Birdman's wedding because we're like, listen, when did this, was it a big wedding? Was it small? What happened? What did the justice of the peace? Like, come on now. They playing too much with us. This is a lot.
00:13Hey, no comment, man. You heard me? No comment. I definitely didn't attend it, man. I ain't much know nothing about it. I was just as shocked as y'all was. I learned about it on the internet, you know what I mean?
00:29And, you know, through social media or whatever. So, um. So they're keeping everyone out the loop. Yeah, I ain't. I don't know nothing. You know what I mean?
00:40So Wayne, within like the last 24 hours, said that he would not do a Super Bowl if they asked him. Do you think that you would be able to convince him to do a hot boys Super Bowl? Or is that something that you think is kind of a dead issue after it's all said and done?
00:57I feel like Wayne deserve it. You know what I'm saying? You know, Wayne is an icon. You know what I'm saying? Wayne is one of our goats. You know what I'm saying? He's definitely my goat. You know what I mean? And, um. You know, give us some time. I think he may reconsider.
01:12Right. Maybe it's like too fresh. Yeah.
01:14Because it just happened.
01:15Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But, um. Yeah, I'm pretty sure I believe that, you know, in the near future, he's definitely gonna headline a halftime show. Facts. Facts.
01:25Take us through what you have going on. New project. New documentary.
01:29Oh, man. Thanks, man. The new album out, man. Freedom of Speech. Got the documentary Freedom of Speech out. I got the deluxe version of the album about to drop in like another week or two.
01:39Yeah, I'm just working. When I came home, you know, I had to go through a lot of, you know, the people had put a gag order on me. You know, they had silenced me. You know, they didn't want me doing nothing pertaining to music or nothing pertaining to entertainment that I could make money off of unless I got written consent from the court. Right.
02:01You know, you know what I mean? I feel like, you know, N.W.A. and, and, and, and, and, and 2 Live Proof fought this fight.
02:07Right. You know, like 30 years ago for us. Freedom of Speech goes and, you know, the government and, and, and courts, you know, using our lyrics against us.
02:15I mean, I just watched it, you know, with, with Doug and the, you know, YSL trial and, you know, I'm seeing it with, you know, Dirk right now with, you know, the music, his lyrics against him.
02:25Right.
02:25And, you know, I ended up getting 14 years, you know, behind, you know, my lyrics and, you know, things that I was speaking about.
02:31So you lived it firsthand.
02:33Exactly, exactly, exactly. So, you know, that's pretty much where the title of the album came from.
02:38Speaking of Dirk, any words of encouragement for someone like him or rappers like him that are going through this since you've lived it?
02:45Man, man. Stay focused, man. You know, keep your head up. You know, stay prayed up. You know what I mean?
02:51You know, man, don't, don't, don't never let them see you sweat, man. You know what I mean?
02:55Like, you know, everything gonna work itself out. I'm always rooting, you know, for real, you know, dudes who come from where I come from and who, you know, this, this, this hip hop thing, you know, really changed our lives, man.
03:08You know what I mean? And put us in a position, you know, to help our families and, you know, create opportunities, you know, for the people around us.
