00:00Governor, with all the talk and bipartisanship, why are there no Republican speakers today?
00:05We're here in the district, and we have the folks who represent this district.
00:10I'm often in districts that are represented by Republicans, and they speak at many things that I attend.
00:16Governor, as the Attorney General, you prosecuted the largest wage theft case in the United States.
00:22Why is the company prosecuted still getting millions in state context?
00:27When I was Attorney General, we prosecuted Hawbaker for the largest Davis-Bacon prevailing wage theft case in the history of the United States of America, and we won.
00:37They were held criminally liable.
00:39They are now going through a separate process that is required under state law to debar them, meaning to make them not eligible for state projects.
00:49Obviously, my view is they shouldn't be eligible, but there's this separate process that has to go on that began during the Wolf administration and is reaching, I think, its conclusion now.
01:01I'm certainly not going to prejudge that.
01:03Someone who is reviewing that case right now will make that ultimate decision.
01:08I think if you rip off the people that work for you, you rip off the taxpayers of Pennsylvania, you shouldn't be rewarded with state business.
01:15I've been clear about that for years.
