00:00Looking for a boyfriend, I see that, give me time, you know I'm gonna be that
00:05Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the top 10 Nickelodeon songs that were so good, we'd still listen to them today
00:15Use them in, take a hand, take a hand, to take a hand, take a hand
00:22Number 10, If That's Not Love, The Naked Brothers Band
00:27Although brothers Nat and Alex Wolfe might be better known for their acting careers now, when they were very young, they had their sights set on a joint music career with the Naked Brothers Band
00:38If that's not love, then what is? If that's not friendship, then what is?
00:45Alex played the drums while older brother Nat was the front man, and wrote all the band's music
00:51One of their most nostalgic songs has to be If That's Not Love, which served as the show's theme song
00:57Its simple but sweet lyrics summarize the real heart of the Naked Brothers Band, music, love and friendship
01:11Number 9, Ripped Pants, Spongebob Squarepants
01:22Few things are funnier to young kids than the unmistakable sound of the embarrassing mishap of ripping one's pants
01:29When I ripped my pants
01:32I thought that I had everybody on my side, but I went and blew it all sky high
01:41When Spongebob takes his jokes too far and Bikini Bottom turns on him, he sings this surprisingly good song to lament his situation
01:49Ripped Pants is reminiscent of 1960s surf rock music, which perfectly fits the show's retro nautical vibes
01:56The voice of Spongebob, Tom Kenny, has said that this is one of his favorite episodes in the series
02:10And we have to agree, not only is it classic Spongebob humor
02:14It also features one of the most iconic songs in Nickelodeon history
02:18Be true to yourself, don't miss your chance
02:22And you won't end up like the fool who ripped his pants
02:31Number 8, Worldwide, Big Time Rush
02:35Have you ever wondered what it would be like if the Monkees got a Backstreet Boys makeover?
02:39Knock and eye, take another goodbye, baby, won't be long
02:44You're the one that I'm waiting on
02:47Take you waiting every night
02:49Well, wonder no more
02:52The answer lies in the hit Nickelodeon show Big Time Rush
02:56Which follows real-life boy band Big Time Rush in their fictional television misadventures
03:01They may have been totally manufactured by Nick
03:03But this boy band actually came out with some genuinely stellar music
03:07This Monday Tokyo
03:09Is just one thing that I gotta do
03:13Took you waiting every night on the phone
03:15One of their best songs was definitely Worldwide
03:18Which explores how difficult it is to be a famous pop star touring around the world
03:22When all you want to do is be home with the one you love
03:25Big Time Rush even reunited virtually in 2020
03:28To bring us an updated version of the song to lift our spirits during the pandemic
03:32It's cheesy but definitely catchy and totally nostalgic
03:37I've been thinking about you worldwide
03:39Worldwide
03:39Worldwide
03:40Worldwide
03:41Worldwide
03:43Number 7
03:44About You Now
03:45Miranda Cosgrove
03:47Miranda Cosgrove made her musical debut singing the iCarly theme song Leave It All To Me
03:52But her cover of the Suga Babes' About You Now
03:55Is definitely the best thing to come out of her too short-lived music career
03:59How could I know what you meant
04:02There was nothing to compare to
04:06This single was heavily promoted during the release of Cosgrove's EP of the same name
04:11And you might remember seeing this music video during commercial breaks on Nickelodeon
04:16I know everything changes
04:19I don't care where it takes us
04:22This energetic pop song totally holds up today
04:25And deserves a spot on any hype music playlist
04:28And yes, that is Diego Bonita from Scream Queens and Rock of Ages
04:33Playing Cosgrove's love interest in the music video
04:36I know how I feel about you now
04:40Number 6
04:41I'm In Between
04:42As told by Ginger
04:44This soulful track was performed by none other than Macy Gray
04:48The Grammy Award winning singer of I Try
04:51Someone once told me the grass is much greener
04:55On the other side
04:57Her distinctive raspy voice gives it a unique style
05:01And very different feel from other cartoon themes
05:04And the song's lyrics reiterate a timeless lesson we've all heard before
05:09For middle schooler Ginger Foutley
05:11Who strives to raise her social status in school
05:14The grass looks way greener on the other side
05:16It takes some growing up, however, to realize that's not always true
05:29There's an extended version of the song that's definitely worth a listen
05:32Because 45 seconds of Macy Gray's iconic voice just isn't enough
05:37Number 5
05:46Begging on your knees
05:47Victorious
05:48We all know what it's like to have someone in a group project
05:51Try to take all the credit without doing any of the work
05:54But Tori's lazy partner, Ryder, takes things to an alarming level
05:58He exploits a full-on romantic relationship with Tori to try to improve his grades
06:09Luckily, Tori finds out before it's too late
06:12And busts out this legendary song as a solo number
06:16Much to the embarrassment of Ryder
06:18This season 2 song was one of Victorious' earlier hits
06:31And it more than holds up today
06:33Beyond the song's performance within the show
06:35A separate music video was also released featuring the Victorious cast
06:39And it's just as legendary as the original
06:42I'll make sure you get what you deserve
06:45Just one day
06:47You'll be begging on your knees for me
06:52Number 4
06:54Follow Me
06:54Zoey 101
06:56What's the easiest way to ensure your 2005 kids show will be a hit?
07:01Get Britney Spears to co-write the theme song
07:03And have her little sister star in it
07:05Obviously
07:06We were all totally obsessed with Britney in the early 2000s
07:20When the pop star was at the peak of her popularity
07:22And one of the biggest musical artists in the world
07:25Zoey 101 saw Britney's younger sister Jamie Lynn
07:28Taking her turn in the spotlight
07:30But first, the show needed a theme song
07:33Jamie Lynn was apparently nervous about recording vocals
07:43After she and Britney wrote the track together
07:46Who better to derive encouragement from
07:48Than the princess of pop herself?
07:50It's really no surprise that Follow Me
07:52Ended up being one of the most recognized themes from our childhoods
07:56Leaving yourself to follow me
08:00Yeah, yeah, yeah
08:03Number 3
08:06Goofy Goober Rock
08:08The SpongeBob SquarePants movie
08:09It might sound far-fetched even for a cartoon
08:13That the power of rock and roll is enough to free the citizens of Bikini Bottom
08:17From Plankton's mind-control helmets
08:19That's before you lend an ear to the track
08:34Goofy Goober Rock is a cover of Twisted Sister's
08:37I Wanna Rock
08:37With modified lyrics
08:39And dare we say
08:40It's even better than the original
08:42It certainly has meme power going for it
08:45Twisted Sister's Dee Snider said of the experience
08:56Quote
08:56They paid me a lot of money
08:58God bless SpongeBob SquarePants
09:00Never before has an ice cream parlor sounded so cool
09:03And never before has SpongeBob rocked harder
09:06I'm a Goofy Goober
09:08You're a Goofy Goober
09:12Number 2
09:21Boyfriend
09:21Big Time Rush
09:23With over 25 million streams on Spotify
09:26Boyfriend is by far Big Time Rush's biggest hit
09:29Almost 15 years after the song's initial release
09:33It's pure 2010's boyband magic
09:42Right down to the rap interlude by none other than Snoop Dogg
09:46Gucci bag, Chanel purse
09:48I need her in my life
09:49I'm the one for her
09:50And she's the one for I
09:52This could be paradise
09:53If we do it right
09:54Looking for a boyfriend
09:56The music video is just as fun
09:58And well worth a watch
09:59If you haven't seen it
10:00Since it was playing during commercial breaks on Nickelodeon
10:03Snoop for some reason has a time machine
10:05And invites the boys of Big Time Rush into the future
10:08Through his portal to perform at a super cool futuristic party
10:12It's got 2010 written all over it
10:14Before we unveil our top pick
10:25Here are a few honorable mentions
10:27Danny Phantom theme song
10:28Danny Phantom
10:29A catchy rap recounting the origin story of our favorite half ghost
10:34It was then that he knew what he had to do
10:36He had to stop all the ghosts that were coming through
10:38He's here to fight for me and you
10:40All that theme song
10:46All that
10:46Total 90's nostalgia brought to you by TLC
10:49Now this is just an introduction
10:51Before we blow your mind
10:53The show was all about
10:54And yes we do it all the time
10:55So stick your baby on the floor
10:57We'll win a chair
10:58Round to win the air
10:59Just don't go nowhere
11:01Sweet Victory
11:02Spongebob Squarepants
11:04A show-stopping performance
11:06Turned fan-favorite moment
11:07I found a way
11:23Drake and Josh
11:24The song that had us all majorly crushing on rock star Drake Bell
11:29It's gonna take some time to realize
11:32But if you look inside
11:38I'm sure you're fine
11:41The Pixie Rap
11:43The Fairly Oddparents
11:45Method Man and Red Man perform a surprisingly great cartoon villain number
11:49We're Pixies
11:50We're Pixies
11:51It's going to set
11:52We're Pixies
11:53We can't stop now
11:54The time is near
11:55We're very well

12:14Number 1
12:16Take a hint
12:17Victorious
12:18Given Tori and Jade's often rocky friendship
12:22Victorious fans knew not to expect many duets between the two singers
12:26After hearing this song though
12:39It makes us think maybe the real reason was that they were just too powerful as a duo
12:43This number taps into a feeling many know all too well
12:47That one guy who doesn't realize you have absolutely no interest in the supposed game he's spitting
12:52And doesn't seem to want to take no for an answer
12:54You asked me what my sign is and I told you it would stop
12:58And if I had a dime for every name that you just dropped
13:02It's high energy and performed by two of the strongest voices in the victorious cast
13:11The lyrics are also surprisingly risque for a Nickelodeon show
13:15Which only facilitated its longevity
13:17It's the ultimate Nickelodeon song we still can't get enough of today
13:22Whether they're your guilty pleasure indulgences or unskippable faves
13:36We want to know which Nickelodeon songs you're still listening to this year
