00:00Let's first talk about what probably was the worst of the four title fights.
00:04I mean, he had four title fights, two-ish night, some great fights,
00:07but then there was one that left some serious lacking,
00:10and that was Austin No Doubt Trout defending his title against Carlos Trindad's Snake.
00:14I mean, CTS got the knockdown the first round.
00:16He's up 10-8.
00:17You figured, oh, man, the young buck's going to come take this title,
00:20and then he just tried to coast on one round the rest of the way.
00:23I don't even know how it got to a six, honestly.
00:25I had it done after five.
00:26What did you see, you know, ringside there as these two were battling,
00:29and really not really throwing for four of the five rounds?
00:33Well, you know, what I really recognized right from the beginning is Austin Trout,
00:38he's had a lot of championship rounds, and Carlos Trindad's Snake has not,
00:42and that's a huge difference.
00:43I mean, I think Carlos, next time he'll have a better understanding,
00:46and just like sometimes the big bright lights make it a little bit different.
00:49I think he will understand, hey, I have to throw more punches.
00:52But Trout, just a constant professional, it is that experience.
00:55Those eight, so many, whatever, how many title fights you've had,
00:58those rounds you've done, that is immeasurable to have that kind of experience,
01:03and you utilize that, and you know where to throw and where not to throw.
01:06He did enough.
01:07He went there, started laying a lot of left hands in the body, got inside.
01:10He was just busier.
01:11He was active, and he landed more shots.
01:14Yeah, and I mean, I know they always say that the judges are supposed to be
01:16impartially, not supposed to give a little more credit to one guy or the other,
01:19but that title always does.
01:20And to be the champ, you have to beat the champ,
01:22and he certainly did not try to beat the champ.
01:24It seemed like after he got that knockdown, he just fought not to lose,
01:27which was weird, given what we've seen from him before.
01:29But hopefully, we'll probably see him back very soon.
01:31The young guy, a lot of great wins under his belt,
01:34so we'll see what is next and if he learns from this one.
01:36But someone who has learned from title losses
01:39and has turned it into just dominating title defenses now, of course,
01:43is Britton Hart.
01:44She had that one against Ty Emery here, just another situation.
01:47Ever since she's dropped down to 115 and got this title,
01:49it's just a showcase for her.
01:52It seems like every time Ty Emery had some great punches.
01:54She had some power that she showed at times, but it was another, you know,
01:57just clinic of Britton Hart moving and sticking, hitting you,
02:00getting out of the way, and just doing her thing for five rounds,
02:03picking her opponent apart.
02:04I mean, Britton Hart is just unbelievably good, unbelievably talented.
02:08But just, more than that, she's just, she epitomizes it
02:12when we say you have to be a dog.
02:13Every time she gets hit, she fires back with harder punches.
02:16I mean, that's something you can't teach.
02:19That's something that has to be, I don't know if it's born into you
02:21or it's just beating you through life.
02:22I don't know what it is, but Britton Hart has it in spades.
02:25Every time she comes to fight, I mean, Ty, I thought,
02:28very formidable opponent.
02:30She's so strong, so powerful.
02:31And every time she cracked Britt,
02:32Britt came right back with two, three punches of her own.
02:35That was an unbelievable fight.
02:37I mean, both those females are warriors.
02:39They went to battle.
02:41I mean, Ty Emery's face was a wreck at the end.
02:43And Britt is just, I mean, I don't know what to say about her,
02:45tough as nails.
02:46And her confidence is just at such a level right now.
02:49You're not bringing it to her.
02:51I mean, she's going to fire back every time.
02:52I don't think people are knocking her out.
02:54She's just the queen of 115.
02:56I don't know what else to say about it.
02:58And, you know, it's not even like some novel striking.
03:01She's doing some crazy angles.
03:02Just simple one-two, one-two.
03:04And she just picks you apart the whole fight.
03:05And it probably frustrates you even more so
03:07when it's just the same two punches that she's just eating you up with
03:10as you keep going round after round.
03:11You also had an incredible comeback there from Tello.
03:15Hamasi won the first two rounds, it looked like.
03:17And then Tello just comes through and just starts knocking him down,
03:21knocking him down before he gets the finish there.
03:23And, you know, kind of a sad fight there with the former UFC,
03:27you know, longtime heavyweight Alexi Olenek, the bow reconstrictor,
03:30not fighting because he wants to, as he flat out said,
03:32just fighting because he has to and taking a beating in his BKFC debut.
03:37Yeah, that was tough.
03:38Man, just some extremely powerful fighters.
03:43I remember the guy trying to take his shirt off at Wayne's.
03:46He couldn't barely get it off.
03:47It was unreal.
03:48I was like, this dude's an absolute animal.
03:50He's a monster.
03:51I still think if that fight gets past the first round,
03:55maybe halfway through the second round, he tires out.
03:57You know, if he could have got worn out a little bit.
04:00But, man, nobody's taken too many of those shots.
04:03That guy looked like a physical specimen.
04:04Hits very hard.
