00:00You know, I see obviously, you know, as we said, you're getting a little older in your career at this point.
00:05I saw you going on a new, you know, regime as well as, you know, for recovery and your training.
00:09I saw you doing the chiro therapy.
00:11Tell us a little bit about that.

00:13You always have people doing ice baths or different things like that.
00:16What's it like going to the machine, getting that extreme cold?
00:18How has that helped you during your training, your recovery and getting ready for this tournament
00:22and, you know, getting your career to where you want to be at this point in it?
00:26Yeah, you're completely right.
00:28The more experience I get and the older I get, the more I learn how my body works
00:34and the more I learn how important the recovery and maintaining the body is.
00:40It's not only beating it down, it's building it up.
00:43And so I do a lot of hyperbaric chamber.
00:45I do a lot of chiro therapy, cold hot bath.
00:49I'm just trying to make sure I give myself the best position to be healthy.
00:54And, you know, when you see things like that, that kind of technology, you know,
00:59you think of like Captain America, all of a sudden he comes out all ripped.
01:02I'm sure you look the same way coming out of the machine like Steve Rogers there
01:05as you get ready to fight Dalton Rossi here now in this first matchup of this tournament for you.
01:10What do you think about your opponent, the 29-year-old American?
01:13You know, he's got a great record, 9-1, but what are you looking for when you fight him?
01:16What have you seen on the tape that you think works in your favor as you get ready in this first round?
01:20Yeah, so he's, yeah, I'm facing Dalton Rossi, a very good fighter from the American top team,
01:34former wrestler, strong, powerful athletic guy.
01:38I believe that stylistically, I wouldn't say that it's something that I've never seen before.
01:48I think I've fought similar styles before.
01:52And I believe that it's a good matchup for me.
01:55I'm going to be longer, I'm going to be faster in there,
01:59and I'm going to, most importantly, be more technical and more of the fight I see.
02:06So I love this matchup.
02:08And we'll see, you know, obviously, all the striking that you have,
02:11all those great knockout wins, you want to keep this on the feet
02:13and see if you can pick apart the younger fighter.
02:15You know, how do you like this tournament format?
02:17The first time, you've been in PFL a long time,
02:19but obviously with a switch to the new format, just the bracket system,
02:22not the playoffs, not the regular season, just straight, you know,
02:24three fights to the end.
02:25How do you like that in this compressed timeline that you have?
02:29Yeah, first and foremost, I want to say, like, it's MMA.
02:32I'm not just looking for a striking fight.
02:34I can fight anywhere, so I'm not even worried about, like,
02:39just having the fight on the feet.
02:41But with that being said, man, I love the new format,
02:47a ornament-based style, win or go home right away.
02:51I don't have to think about the points.
02:53I don't have to, like, try to hunt the fast finish
02:56just to put myself in a good position to move over.
