00:00Yeah, you've coached a lot of quarterbacks in your day.
00:04What is it about him that's maybe unique or different from some of the others?
00:08Yeah, I think, well, Dante has all the ability in the world, has the arm talent.
00:15I've been really pleased with, like, just his intelligence to get us checked into a positive play, right?
00:20You know, a lot of times playing football, it's advantage offense, advantage defense based on the call.
00:25And he's done a great job of getting us in an advantage call, right?
00:28Whenever he sees a certain look, being able to adjust and adapt to that.
00:32The other piece, I think, is just his poise.
00:34You know, he's calm, collected.
00:36He plays with a swagger out there, which I think you want to have, you know, a quarterback.
00:40And he's done a really, really good job of that.
00:42Some people say he's a little bit like Marcus Mariota, just in his presence.
00:45Do you kind of feel that?
00:47Well, I never got to coach Marcus, but getting to know Marcus and who he is, I could see some similarities there.
00:54What I think is important for every player is you have to be you, right?
00:57You know, whether it's Austin or Dante or Luke or any of our quarterbacks.
01:03KJ, you have to be you, right?
01:05You can't go in there and try to be somebody else.
01:07And I think all those guys have really great attributes that it's like, okay, how do I lean into who I am and take advantage of that?
01:13Seems like Dante's taking it so seriously.
01:15He's got the body fat.
01:16He's working on his speed.
01:18Do you sense that different, like, all right, this is my year?
01:20He has a mentality right now about how he wants to go attack things, and so does everybody in that room.
01:25Like, we challenge every guy to get 1% better, right?
01:28And, you know, whether that's Dante, like I said, or Austin or KJ or Brock or Luke, all those guys are working really hard to be the best versions of themselves.
01:35Yeah.
01:35Yeah.
