00:00Blake Lively is a titan. That is the title bestowed to her by Time Magazine, who put her on its list of the 100 most influential people of 2025.
00:10Now, when you see that title, most influential, you could say, I get it, right? Because she has been in the news all year.
00:17There's been a debate about women in the workplace, how they're treated.
00:21It's dominated the news cycle in many ways.
00:23Absolutely. So you would understand it, right?
00:25So you would think this whole thing revolves around this feud with Justin Baldoni.
00:30Justin Baldoni is never mentioned.
00:32Never mentioned. Her war with Justin Baldoni never mentioned. It has nothing to do with that.
00:39This is what it has to do with. So the essay in the magazine about Blake Lively was written by a very accomplished civil rights attorney, Sherilyn Eithel.
00:48Can I just say, she is fantastic. She was legal counsel, chief legal counsel for the NAACP.
00:55She's now a professor at Howard Law School. And she is just one of the smartest people in this space.
01:01And she says that she knows nothing of the Blake Lively that we just talked about, that we've been talking about for a year now in this war around it ends with us.
01:11She says, I admired immediately her, Blake's curiosity and her sincere work to understand the conditions that shape this country.
01:20Blake is a serious person. She's a risk taker.
01:23And she's committed to moving this country forward for her children and for mine.
01:28And it goes on to say that, you know, that Blake, Sherilyn, her interaction with Blake was that Blake made and Ryan made a big contribution to the NAACP.
01:38Right. To their legal defense. That's right. And that's how she got to know her.
01:42She says, I don't know anything about this other person. So I guess that part doesn't matter.
01:48The whole article, she said that she's never seen Gossip Girl. She doesn't even know Blake from the red carpet.
01:53She only talks about Blake's philanthropy. And like you guys said, nothing is mentioned about the Justin Baldoni lawsuit.
02:01I mean, even, you know, you could say that Blake is is standing up for women, you know, legally fighting against people that she worked with that sexually harassed her.
02:11Like she could have said that, but that was totally not in the article.
02:15Now, the bad news that if you look at that word Titan, add an IC at the end.
02:21And that's the problem. That is the description down under.
02:25That's basically a description that was given by a crew member from It Ends With Us who spoke to 60 Minutes Australia about this whole war.
02:35They were addressing it. And this is what the crew member had to say about Blake's behavior on set.
02:40In my opinion, I find it very hard to believe the allegations against him.
02:44And considering his mission statement about the film and him genuinely pitching that he was doing this film to help young women, I just find it hard to believe the allegations, to be honest.
02:56I would say I felt more comfortable being around Justin than a lot of film directors in my experience.
03:03I feel like maybe Blake smelled his kindness, mistook it for weakness and tried to take advantage and take power.
03:10So, yeah.
03:11So you believe Blake Lively wrestled control of the film?
03:15I think she tried to, yes.
03:17So the only thing I kind of want to say about this is you are never going to be fully satisfied with the way this ends.
03:25I don't know if it ends with them, but as how it ends with us, I don't think you're going to see a clear winner and you're going to see a clear loser in this.
03:34I think, to be fair, because we've heard this from people in Blake's camp for a year, almost a year now since this battle started, that everyone on the crew are very tight with Justin.
03:47It is his production company.
03:48Right.
03:48And that he hired all, his production company hired the entire crew.
03:52So they would say, yeah, of course the crew members are siding with him.
03:57He hired them.
03:58So.
03:58Never going to be satisfied, folks.
04:00Correct.
04:00Perfect.
04:01Hebrews 4.
04:01All right.
04:03You're going to have to be a short walk.
04:04We'll see you in the end.
04:06And that's on the end.
04:07All right.
04:07And that's fine.
04:09Sleepyタx.
04:09We'll see you in the end.
04:11We'll see you in the end.
04:12That's fine.
04:12You're looking at the top walk up.
04:14It's sorry.
04:14If you're watching this.
04:16Indeed we'll see you in the end.
