00:00Hello, I'm Hyunmin Sun. This is my story.
00:10I started maybe when I was like nine years old and so before 2002 but I growing up with the
00:232002 World Cup in South Korea and watched a lot of games and this was my dream to play
00:29World Cup. I had a good memory for that. Growing up and I watched a lot of times
00:35Cristiano Ronaldo and because he played Manchester United and his teammate was Park Ji-sung
00:43who was a South Korean player. They played together. I watched him a lot of times.
00:49That's why he's still my idol. He's a lot better than me and I just still watch him sometimes
00:58on YouTube or some video clips of him because I can still practice a lot from him.
01:06Now he is my agent. He went to South Korea with some scouters in Hamburg and Nuremberg and they
01:17picked three players each team and then my agent and then Hamburg, Hamburg, they picked me up and I joined Hamburg as well.
01:29Of course it was difficult but different as well. When I was 16 I left my country away from my parents but
01:38I was just thinking this is my dream to play in Europe. I need to take the chance, you know, it's not coming every day, you know.
01:48I just took the chance, you know. For me it was difficult and away from parents, away from the country with 16 years old.
01:56It's not easy ones. But in my head I was just thinking this is just my dream. I want to just keep working hard, you know.
02:07Some people, some players want to join here and not make it, you know. Enjoy it and, you know, I feel sorry.
02:16I can, I had a good memory and I changed it to, from Hamburg to Leverkusen and then my first game against Hamburg Asko Hatchery.
02:25And this is, I feel sorry, I feel sorry to, to the Hamburg fans or Hamburg, Hamburg City because this is my, I think, first memory because this was my first Hatchery against my ex-team.
02:40And I felt sorry and, but my first Hatchery against my ex-team, but I felt sorry, I think.
02:47For me it was a dream to play Premier League and before I moved to England I just told her, before manager,
02:54I want to change to England because I can't take the chance, you know, it's mine.
03:01Just a dream to play Premier League and I growing up watched so many games in the Premier League, you know.
03:06First game I had a little bit not good performance and everyone was worried about, you know, maybe the change was too early from Germany to England, everyone was talking about.
03:17But I was confident to play here and all the coaching staff and all the Tottenham behind me, they support me, you know, he made me better than before, you know, a lot better, you know.
03:31I worked really hard, training is really good, you know, even though if I don't play, the training session is always tough and you always fit, you know.
03:41I can't, his beat team is impossible because he is just unbelievable, he's got so many goals, he can score from everywhere, you know.
03:49For me it's just one of the best strikers and I'd say after the game as well, he's younger than me but he works really hard.
03:59Yeah, this was my dream. When I was growing up, I was just thinking, yeah, when I played professional team, everyone just looked at me and this is my role model, this Sonny.
04:10Like, this was my role, this was my dream but I don't know if everyone is thinking Sonny is my role model.
04:19But, you know, I won, last season I won twice the Premier Player of the Moms, this made me so happy, this was, I think, the best thing you can do.
04:33Dreaming, you can do what you want, you know.
04:37But, in Korea, they say you should dreaming bigger than bigger, you know, bigger than what you think, you know.
04:47Yeah, of course, the football players are dreaming about Ballon d'Or or about winning for title, you know.
04:54This is one of my dreams.
04:56My dream.
