00:00So today we're in the middle of Hayton village which is one of our multi-use test sites incorporating
00:20both pedestrians and drivers and we're here just awaiting the arrival of the Minister for
00:26Future Roads and Transport Lillian Greenwood so that we can show her all the work that we're doing.
00:30The message we want to get across nationally is and it's important to have that ministerial support
00:36is to try and drive home further expansion and wider uptake of some of the really good work that
00:43we're doing here and some of the good findings we're already seeing so that we can scale this
00:48out across the country after the project's complete. The primary message that we're trying to get across
00:53to the minister is that we can do lighting and we can do roads in a different way and we can maintain
01:00driver safety that we're doing a lot of research into ensuring that drivers are safe and that the
01:06changes we've made have that safety focus and to really prove that we can drive down carbon and we
01:12can change the national thoughts around street lighting and what it's there for and who it's
01:18there for. To the public they would see lighting designed specifically for them so as we can see
01:25behind us you know lighting that's just for the pedestrian user we would see hopefully or we
01:30are already starting to see improvements in road safety but equally as well a more sustainable future
01:39for street lighting driving carbon down and providing lighting for the user where the user needs it.
01:48And a very careful is it also because this was aOkay isn't a lot. So there are lots of
02:04really importantskiing there's art i. When you see the sort of game wearing also in the
02:06industry itself. And at the end it's an professional type of partnership with logistics and
02:12Walmart and the internet so that there is an intersection of archipuation across all of the
