At the 'Andor' premiere, Benjamin Norris talks to THR about what it was like joining the show for its second season. Plus, he recalls what it was like stepping into the set.

00:00What has it been like stepping into the Star Wars universe for season two of Andor?
00:03It's a dream come true, both Star Wars and Andor.
00:08You know, one of the most prestigious Star Wars IP of all time.
00:13And yeah, it's a pinch-myself moment.
00:17Do you remember what your first day on set was like stepping into the world for the first time?
00:21Yeah, great question.
00:23We did very intense rehearsals leading up to it.
00:27But I remember the moment I stepped onto the actual set for the first time.
00:31We visited set, and it's a 360 set, so everything was real.
00:35There was no green screen or anything.
00:36So once you step foot onto it, you were transported to a different planet,
00:41even though it was in London.
00:42And it was very special.
00:45Diego Luna has said that this season will make Rogue One a different film for Star Wars fans.
00:51How do you think that's true?
00:53I mean, it's entirely true, right?
00:55Like, this is going to lead right up until Rogue One starts,
00:57and we're just going to get the entire context for why Rogue One is the way it is.
01:03And I think, I mean, if people are really hardcore,
01:06I mean, I think people should just watch season one, then season two,
01:10and go right into Rogue One, do a marathon.
01:12You know, it's important.
01:13It's important stuff.
01:14Now, May the 4th is coming up, so we're asking people,
01:17what's your favorite Star Wars movie?
01:18Um, I'm a big fan of The Return of the Jedi.
01:23Um, the Endor, the planet of Endor with the Ewoks,
01:27uh, that's my favorite planet in Star Wars growing up.
01:31It's, I used to pretend like I was on that planet,
01:33riding the little hover bikes.
01:35So, um, that would be my favorite one.
01:38Yeah.
01:39And this show is so beloved by fans.
01:41Why do you think it's resonated with them in the way that it has?
01:44I think, um, I think the way,
01:47I think the way this Star Wars kind of differs from other Star Wars is,
01:52uh, it has its fair share of fun, don't get me wrong,
01:55but I think it's saying something.
01:57Um, and I think, I think people kind of see eye to eye with it.
02:01Um, and it's just, it's just really cool.
02:05Really, really cool and really important.
02:08And, um, it's so well written.
