00:00Sa running, aabot sa 17,000 runners ang inaasahang tatakbo sa Earth Day Run 2025 ngayong Abril.

00:10Dalawang linggo na lang ang hihintayin at magsisimula ng Earth Day Run 2025

00:16na sa Bayang Igrao sa Manila, Cebu at Davao City.

00:19Ayon kay Run Radio Managing Partner Andrew Neri,

00:23aabot sa 17,000 runners ang sasadang sa 21km, 10km at 5km run.

00:30Every year, this is one of Run Radio's advocacy really to come up with a run with a purpose.

00:36So ang theme natin is Run With Purpose.

00:38So it's a very simple but powerful call-to-action tagline

00:43na parang it means every stride is a step forward to sustainable environment protection.

00:56kung saan inaasahan ang patuloy na pagtaas ng heat index sa bansa.

01:00Kasabay nito, sinisiguro ng Run Rio na prioridad nila ang kaligtasan ng bawat kalahok.

01:05We prepare, we double our hydration stations, our manpower.

01:12We also improve in the number of our medical teams during the summer months.

01:19So we are very much confident na okay naman tayo dyan kasi palagi naman tayo prepare for that.

01:26Samantala, isa sa advocacy partner ng Run Rio ang Chuchi Foundation

01:30na naglalayong mapangalagaan ng kalikasan at kalinisan sa bawat komunidad.

01:34We are very happy that Run Rio has been incorporating sustainability into the races

01:41such as by including the reusable silicon cups that can be used during races

01:50rather than creating more trash during these types of events.

01:54This year we will be having mga games.

01:55We might also be teaching them how to use eco-enzymes.
