00:50in bad taste, adding that she was glad she spoke up about it. Yes, take the piss for sure, that's
00:55what the show is about, but there must be a more clever, more nuanced, less cheap way. Wood also
01:00took a jab at the British accent Sherman put on for the sketch. At least get the accent right,
01:05seriously. I respect accuracy, even if it's mean, adding a laughing emoji. The White Lotus star later
01:11posted an update saying, I've had apologies from SNL. The actress didn't clarify who from the show
01:17reached out about the sketch. Wood then returned to her Instagram story soon after to clarify that the
01:22sketch wasn't Sherman's fault. Not hating on her, hating on the concept. I am not thin-skinned. I
01:28actually love being taken the piss out of when it's clever and in good spirits. But the joke was
01:32about fluoride. I have big gap teeth, not bad teeth. I don't mind caricature. I understand that's what
01:38SNL is. But the rest of the skit was punching up, and I slash Chelsea was the only one punched down.
