00:00This video is brought to you by Lost Records Bloom and Rage, a new narrative adventure
00:07game series by the original creators of Life is Strange.
00:10Tape one already available on PC, Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5.
00:26Welcome to WatchMojo and today we're looking over the minor choices made across video games
00:30that had a major impact down the line.
00:41Head back to the 90s to solve the mystery buried in time.
00:44From the creators of Life is Strange comes Lost Records Bloom and Rage.
00:4727 years after the fateful summer of 1995, Swan returns to her hometown to uncover the
00:53truth behind a shocking event.
00:55Relive the summer through her camcorder, piecing together clues, playing punk rock, and confronting
01:00the secrets that someone wants to keep hidden.
01:02Explore a world filled with 90s nostalgia, engage in immersive dialogue with meaningful choices,
01:07and experience a gripping narrative adventure that will change the lives of 4 friends forever.
01:13Experience the story in two thrilling parts.
01:15Tape one, Bloom, is live now on Steam, Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5.
01:20And tape two, Rage, launches April 15th as a free downloadable update.
01:26Number 10, Sacrificing the Chargers, Dragon Age Inquisition.
01:30I had no idea it would cost you the Chargers, Bull.
01:33I'm sorry.
01:34It was always a risk.
01:36Have a good one.
01:37The Iron Bull's band of mercenaries are good people, but what is that worth when fighting
01:41a war against an ancient magister and his army of red lyrium-infused madmen?
01:46During the Bull's personal quest, you can either choose to secure or ruin an alliance
01:50with Qunari and their army, with the Chargers' lives hanging in the balance as they hold a
01:54dangerous position.
01:55We need to hold that hill at all costs.
02:00Yeah.
02:04The true effects of this is not felt until the Trespasser DLC.
02:07If you convinced Bull to give up his men, then he falls back to being a slave to the Qun,
02:11and so has no problem with turning on you when the Qunari demand your death.
02:14Understood, ma'am.
02:21Change of plans.
02:22Nothing personal.
02:23Boss.
02:24You reap what you sow.
02:31Number 9.
02:32Handing Over an Egg.
02:33Baldur's Gate 3.
02:35The pursuit of science and research is always a worthy endeavor, until some common sense
02:44goes out the window.
02:45The Society of Brilliance, in their dogged attempt to see if a newly-hashed Githyanki can free
02:49itself from its violent urges if raised in an alternative environment, requests the player
02:53to receive one of their eggs.
03:06You can choose to do so, or hand over an owlbear egg if you're feeling particularly scampish.
03:11The result is the same, with the Society of Brilliance meeting a bloody end.
03:14Turns out, nature versus nurture is a bit more one-sided when it comes to astral frog
03:18people and giant feathered balls of rage.
03:20Number 8.
03:33Submitting to Interrogation.
03:34Metal Gear Solid.
03:39Granted, this one is trickier than most.
03:44Not because it offers a binary choice, but the physical toll it takes on the player.
03:48Strung up and constantly electrocuted by Revolver Ocelot, players have to rapidly tap a button
03:53for a strenuous amount of time in order to maintain Snake's willpower and refusal to concede.
04:01But if you mess up even once, he gives in, and in doing so dooms Meryl to death.
04:07So, the choices are to break your fingers or let the best girl perish.
04:10You're a madman Kojima.
04:12I gave into my fear.
04:13I gave into my pain.
04:15I sold your life to save my own.
04:20Number 7.
04:21Recruiting Everyone.
04:22Fire Emblem Three Houses.
04:25Subsequent playthroughs to see all outcomes of this epic RPG are practically a must, since,
04:38depending on the house you choose to teach at the academy, the fate of the kingdoms drastically
04:42changes.
04:43More often than not, this will lead to you having to face off against students from other houses
04:46when war inevitably breaks out, even killing them on the battlefield, unless you play it
04:50smart and recruit them before the time skip.
04:53If your stats are high enough in certain disciplines, you can recruit 90% of the cast to your side.
04:57There are some obvious exceptions, but at the very least you don't have to brutally murder your favorite character
05:02just because they fly under a different flag.
05:05Could one such as I truly hope for such a life?
05:08As the sole survivor of that day, do I have the right to live for myself?
05:14Number 6.
05:15Taking Survivors to Yosefka.
05:17Bloodborne.
05:18But I'm afraid nothing will change my mind.
05:21I cannot open the door.
05:23With beasts all over the shop, you'd be forgiven for wanting to take any and all survivors to
05:27a place of safety and healing.
05:29And what better place than a clinic?
05:31Especially with the sultry and sweet Yosefka running things.
05:34Well, like all things in Yharnam, the truth often turns out to be bleak and ugly.
05:39Night is long, but morning always comes.
05:44Someone of your caliber won't fail us.
05:46I am certain.
05:48Turns out that an imposter has taken over the clinic and for every innocent you send her
05:52way, she'll turn them into celestial minions you're forced to cut down.
05:55Why couldn't you just send them over to the Odin Chapel dweller?
05:58She was chill.
06:13Number 5.
06:14Finding the Journal.
06:15Until Dawn.
06:19By this point in the game, the threat of a serial killer has been swapped for that of
06:23bloodthirsty Wendigos, and while most of the cast's fate are tied to motion controls,
06:27there is one soul you have to work extra hard to keep alive, that being Josh.
06:31To ensure that a Wendigo doesn't squash his skull like a melon, you must thoroughly explore
06:35the underground caves, where you'll eventually come across the Journal of Hanna, Josh's
06:39sister and one of the missing girls whose supposed demise kicks off until Dawn's slasher-themed
06:44story.
06:45She's survived her fatal fall, but over time was affected by the mountain's curse to become
06:49a Wendigo herself.
06:50Relay this info to Josh and he'll recognize her right before she's about to kill him.
06:54Though we can't exactly say this new ending is any better than a quick death.
07:06Number 4.
07:07Shara Lives.
07:08Undertale.
07:09So, for whatever reason, you decided for your first playthrough of Undertale that you'd
07:20tackle the genocide route.
07:22Go full evil.
07:23Kill every monster in the underground, nor sparing a soul or even attempting to form friendships.
07:28Now you feel guilty and want to pursue the pacifist route.
07:30Earn the good ending to ease your conscience.
07:32Well, too bad.
07:33As soon as the genocide run is completed, it's basically imprinted on all subsequent playthroughs
07:38of the game.
07:39Case in point, Chara possessing your character in the final moments of the perfect good ending,
07:43reminding you of the sins you committed.
07:46It's haunting and genius at the same time, showcasing how everything can't be undone with New Game Plus.
07:59Number 3.
08:00Repairing the Normandy.
08:01Mass Effect 2.
08:02What can you tell me about the Normandy's armaments?
08:05Looks like Cerberus upgraded what the ship carried before.
08:08Should have a bit more kick.
08:10The suicide mission is arguably Mass Effect's most iconic moment and to ensure every crew member survives,
08:15Shepard has to make some serious decisions in regard to his teammates and their skills.
08:19Some obvious, some not so much.
08:21But even before they venture onwards to the collector base, they can potentially doom a good chunk of them
08:26if they don't properly prep the Normandy.
08:28This involves speaking to select teammates and upgrading the ship's armaments, shields and armor,
08:32all of which are vital if you want to ensure everyone makes it back alive,
08:36though it's not exactly spelled out for you.
08:38Number 2.
08:47Saving Kate.
08:48Life is Strange.
08:49What are you doing here, Max?
08:51Stop!
08:52Don't come near me!
08:53Not now!
08:54One of the darkest moments from this beloved time-twister of a game,
08:57student Kate has been driven to her breaking point and intends to take her own life by jumping from one of the Academy's buildings.
09:02With her power to rewind time, Max has a chance to save her by talking her down off the ledge,
09:07assuming you can convince her.
09:09The only way to keep Kate from ending it all is to have snooped around her dorm room prior in the episode
09:13to get to really know her and her inner demons.
09:22Failed to do so, and Kate will be removed from the narrative entirely.
09:25Apparently her problem is worse than mine, so why even bother with me? I'm done anyway.

09:47Number 1.
09:48So that's the end of my story.
09:49Fahrenheit.
09:50Don't move.
09:52You are under arrest.
09:53You have the right to remain silent.
09:56Giving us a litany of meme material even when modern gaming was still in its infancy.
10:00There are plenty of potential death scenes of the likes of Lucas,
10:03depending on what actions you choose to either take or ignore.
10:08Don't move or I shoot!
10:13This is how my story ends.
10:15One of the funniest just happens to be if you forget that taking a swig of alcohol
10:18after taking some pills is apparently an instant death sentence.
10:22Within seconds of getting a sip off the good stuff,
10:24Lucas goes straight into cardiac arrest just like that.
10:27And it's… kind of hilarious?
10:29Of all the silliest endings you could get, this is right up there.
10:33And that's the end of my story.
10:36I mixed alcohol and medication.
10:38I lost consciousness.
10:39A suicide heart accident was the difference.
10:43Which off-the-cuff gaming decisions do you regret making?
10:45Let us know in the comments.
