Popeyes is set to open its doors in what was Krispy Kreme at Avonmeads Retail Park on Friday, April 11, from 11am.

00:12and we've had just an incredible response so far. So our first restaurant opened in London in 2021.

00:34chicken brands in the world. The product as you've just seen is an incredible product.
00:41All the chicken is fresh. We hand bread every single piece of chicken in a very unique process
00:47to Popeyes. We lift that product 20 times in our own flour in a particular batter mix and
00:54then we float fry it to give this incredible shatter crunch texture. It really makes Popeyes
00:59quite unique in the chicken market. This shatter crunch process is something we've been perfecting
01:05for over 50 years. For us Bristol and I'm from Bristol originally so I've been looking forward
01:12to getting a restaurant in my home city but you know we've been looking for the right place in
01:18Bristol for many years. This one's come up you know this part of Bristol is fantastic for us.
01:24We love this part. I think we're going to do extremely well here and we've got a couple
01:29other restaurants already in the pipeline for Bristol. We have one in Clifton and we have one
01:34in Longwell Green. Both of those will be coming online later this year maybe early next year.
01:38But yeah Bristol's a fantastic city and I wish we'd been here sooner.
