00:00Oh, Z Alameda is the key is signed with the bears. Okay. And he got asked some questions
00:07by bears reporters. And he said, he got asked about Caleb Williams and Jaden Daniels and
00:15of Caleb. He said, the biggest thing I think is just the mental aspect of it for any young
00:22quarterback, especially Caleb. He has all the talent that you need to be a top tier
00:26quarterback of the league. And a lot of it's just going to be the mental aspect of it and
00:31kind of just slowing the game down. I think he said exactly the truth. And then he's talking
00:37about his connection with Jaden. The biggest thing is just the connection. That was one
00:41thing that we prided ourselves on is just to be able to connect as quickly as possible.
00:45That's how you really take off the connection throughout the building, not just player to
00:49player, player to coach, coach to players, but entire team to player, all of it. I think
00:58OZ doesn't really make a comparison here, but he just signed with a new team. Of course,
01:05he's going to say the right thing. He just signed with a new team. And all he said was
01:10Caleb is a young quarterback who has to get more mentally into it. He has to get a connection with
01:15all of his teammates and also the coaches and stuff, got to get a connection with him.
01:20He said the truth. He didn't make a comparison. He didn't make him higher. He said the truth.
01:28Now, the comparison is they both were drafted in the same year, one was drafted for the other.
01:33They're both brothers, fake quarterback. One guy seemed to be a little bit more mentally there
01:39and stuck in and had a better connection with his supporting cast than the other did.
01:45And he's saying if Caleb wants to get there, that's where he has to go.
01:49I don't think it's a comparison. I think he's basically saying
01:52what needs to happen for you to reach your full potential.
01:56Yeah, I think it's he's saying because one of the most fascinating subplots of this over of,
02:04you know, kind of this off season is can Washington can DQ keep that feeling of
02:09brotherhood in that burgundy and gold locker room because it's not that easy.
02:15And every time you change that recipe, every time you get new players, it's going to
02:21change the chemistry, not necessarily in a bad way, but it it shifts.
02:26It does. But what I've heard from guys speaking is exactly what they were preaching last year.
02:33Yeah. The guys that just sign are saying the exact same things, which tells me
02:39people like a guy, Bobby Wagner, who signed back and I thought was a very important signing,
02:44reaching out to guys and talking to them, letting the guys know what's up,
02:47letting them know they're welcome. Just the mere fact that guys that were already here
02:51reaches out to guys soon as they sign. That does a world and that's a world of good for guys.
02:56You know, some guys have a thing going on and you bring in new people,
03:00got rid of one of their buddies. They don't want to say nothing to you.
03:02It happens, you know, but what O.Z. said, I don't see that as anything negative at all.
